Abstract

A packaging bag for pourable products is made of a stable packing material, in particular of a paper-containing blank. In the filled state, the upper bag end (1) is folded at least once about a folding edge (4) and is secured at the bag region located below the folding edge (4), so forming a multi-layered edge region (5). By virtue of this arrangement, the packaging bag can be opened in a simple and easily manageable fashion without additional aids and without damaging any areas of the bag which are in contact with the product in the opening position. For this purpose, the upper bag end (1) is provided in the multi-layered edge region (5) with a tear-off device (6) for the free end region (8) of the multi-layered edge region (5).

Description

Packaging bags for pourable products.

The invention relates to packaging for pourable products made from a stable packaging material, in particular from a paper-containing blank, the upper end of the bag being folded over at least once by an envelope edge in the filled state and forming a multilayered edge area at the bag area located below the envelope edge is attached.

Packaging bags of this type are known and are used to an increased extent for powdered detergents and / or cleaning agents as refill bags, which are placed in an original container or in a long-term use container or spilled.

Since refill bags of this type are used as sales bags and should therefore be handled without damage as far as possible, relatively stable packaging materials are used (for example coated or uncoated papers). This means that it is not possible to open such a packaging bag by tearing it open by hand, since the bags are generally designed with side folds which are folded up in the upper area of the bag, resulting in a four-layer or eight-layer material covering. To- In addition, the upper end of the bag is folded over at least once or several times and sealed or glued, and this also results in a stable closure that cannot be opened by hand.

To open such a refill bag, it has therefore hitherto been necessary to use an auxiliary instrument such as scissors or the like. In order to facilitate the opening, an opening line with a scissor symbol and a dashed line is typically provided at the top end of the bag, along which the packaging bag is cut over the entire width by the user for the purpose of opening, so that the full bag cross section for product removal by means of a measuring cup is available.

Generic packaging bags in a more stable design are also used as containers for beverages or the like, with the upper edge region of the bag also having to be incised in some areas with scissors or a knife in order to open and unfold a pouring spout, which also makes handling cumbersome or more difficult.

The object of the invention is to provide a solution with which in a simple and easy to use manner without additional aids it is possible to open such a packaging bag without damaging bag areas which are in contact with the product in the opening position.

This object is achieved according to the invention with a packaging bag of the type described in the introduction in that the upper end of the bag is provided in the multilayered edge region with a tear-off aid for the free end region of the multilayered edge region.

With the configuration of the packaging bag according to the invention, it is possible in a simple and easy-to-handle manner without additional aids, such as scissors or the like, to open the packaging bag in a defined manner by at least partially tearing off the multilayered edge region, without the packaging bag being thereby removed in the other areas. In this case, either a complete opening of the packaging bag is possible if it is used as a refill bag for a detergent or the like, which is then inserted or poured into an original container, or it is only one partial opening is possible in order to be able to swivel out a pouring spout in a simple manner, which is advantageous in the case of packaging bags which are used as beverage containers. If the packaging bag is used as a refill bag for powdered detergents and cleaning agents, it is advantageously provided that the upper end of the bag in the filled state is continuously sealed on the inside in a manner known per se with a sealing strip arranged below the edge of the envelope and the Tear-off aid arranged in the area above the sealing strip extends essentially over the entire width of the edge area. It is then possible in a simple manner to completely tear off the multilayered edge region and then to open the sealing strip by pulling apart the then existing tabs and to remove the product.

In a particularly advantageous embodiment it is provided that the tear-off aid is formed by a perforation line which completely penetrates the multilayered edge area. Basically, however, other tear-off aids could also be used here, for example a tear thread could be provided, which of course must be arranged in such a way that all layers of the multilayered edge area are severed when torn off.

If it is of advantage that the upper opening edge of the opened packaging bag is straight, provided that the perforation line is also rectilinear.

However, in order to make it easier to open and tear open the sealing strip, it is more advantageous for the perforation line, starting from the marginal edges, to be straight in each case and then curved upwards towards the center. If, in this embodiment, the multilayered edge region is torn off along the perforation line, crescent-like tabs are formed in the middle on the front side of the bag and on the back of the bag, which as handle elements make it much easier to pull them apart to open the sealing strip.

Handling can be significantly improved by the fact that the perforation line opens at least at one end into a wedge-shaped incision in an edge.

Of a packaging bag according to the invention for pourable goods, which is designed in particular as a refill bag for powdered detergents and / or cleaning agents, only the upper end of the bag, which is generally designated 1, is shown in the drawings. The packaging bag preferably consists of a cut from coated or uncoated paper or another suitably stable packaging material in order to be able to use the packaging bag as a transport bag for the filled detergent or cleaning agent. The upper end of the bag 1 of the packaging bag, which is made in one piece and in one piece with a body of the packaging bag, indicated by 2, only partially indicated, is folded in a known manner after the packaging bag has been completely filled, for example by a V-shaped one Folding in side flaps, not shown, so that in this way a flap-shaped flat arrangement of the upper end of the pouch 1 is created, as shown in FIG. 1.

The upper end of the bag 1 is preferably sealed all round on its inside with a sealing strip, which is indicated in the drawing by 3. The pouch is already tightly closed by this sealing strip 3. However, in order to ensure a secure and stable closure, the bag end 1, as shown in FIG. 2, is then folded over at least once in the filling line around an envelope edge 4 arranged above the sealing line 3 and then with the formation of a multilayer edge area 5 glued to the area of the bag below the fold-over edge 4, preferably all over. At this stage of manufacture, a conventionally known packaging bag is then available, which, however, can only be opened with an aid, for example scissors, by the multilayered edge region 5 is separated over the entire width above the sealing strip 3.

According to the invention, it is now provided that the upper end of the bag 1 in the multilayer edge region 5 above the sealing strip 3 is provided with a perforation line 6 which extends essentially over the entire width and serves as a tear-off aid. This perforation line 6 in the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 3 and 4 is arranged in a straight line and parallel to the sealing strip 3 and preferably ends on both sides in a wedge-shaped incision 7.

As can be seen, the multilayered edge region 5 of the upper end of the bag 1 is divided by the perforation line 6, the free end region of the multilayered edge region 5 being designated by 8.

The arrangement of the perforation line 6 and thus the size of the free end area 8 is selected so that when the packaging bag is carried, the user does not accidentally grasp the packaging bag only at the free end area 8 and then undesirably tears this free end area 8 along the perforation line 6. Rather, the free end region 8 is so narrow that it extends along the perforation line 6 can only be separated from the rest of the bag if the free end region 8 is specifically gripped by the user.

As can best be seen from FIG. 4, to open the packaging bag, the free end region 8 is simply cut off by hand along the perforation line 6, with the wedge-shaped incision 7 making handling even easier. When the free end area 8 has been completely separated, as shown in FIG. 4, the upper end of the bag 1 opens and, after the entire free edge area 8 has been separated, can be opened completely by the front and rear sides of the upper end of the bag 1 are pulled apart in the direction of the arrows 9, so that the sealing strip 3 delaminates and separates. The packaging bag is then opened over the entire cross section and the product can then be removed in a simple manner.

In principle, it is also possible, which is not shown in the drawing, that in the case of packaging bags which are used as packaging for drinks or the like, the perforation line 6 extends only partially over the width of the upper end of the bag 1, around the free end area 8 only to be able to separate to such an extent that access to a folded-in side flap is possible on one side can then be folded out in a simple manner to form a pouring spout.

Since the multilayer edge region 5 also has at least four layers, but also in the edge edges with folded side flaps is eight-layered, in order to ensure that the free end area 8 is properly torn off, it is provided that the perforation line 6 completely penetrates the multilayered edge area, ie all layers.
