熱可塑性樹脂、 熱硬化性樹脂等の樹脂成形体は、 金厲製品、 ガラス製 品などに比べて軽量で耐衝 »性に優れているばかりでなく、 安価で成形 加工が容易であるなどの種々の利点を有しており、 自動車、 オートバイ、 家庭用電化製品、 日用雑 «品、 その他の多くの分野において、 これらの 材 Wに代わって広く使用されている。 しかしこれらの樹脂などの成形体 は金農やガラス等にくらベて表面硬度が低く、 引 sきや摩擦に対しても 弱いために表面に傷が生じ易い,
ポリエチレンテレフタレート (P E T ) などのポリエステル系榭脂容 器は軽量で耐衝擎性に優れるとともに、 安価で成形性に優れるほか、 ガ ス遮断性にも優れるため、 飲料用ボトルなどの食品用容器として広く使 用されている, しかしこれらのポリエステル系樹脂製容器は金 JRゃガラ ス等に比べて表面硬度が低く、 引 Sきや摩擦に対しても弱いために表面 に傷が生じ易い。
このような点を改蕃するために、 樹脂その他の基体表面に硬化被膜を 形成し、 表面硬度その他の物性を改善することが行われている。 従来の この種の硬化被膜を形成するための被 S用硬化型樹脂組成物として、 例 えば特開昭 5 9— 2 5 8 4 0号には、 ポリ 〔 (メタ) ァクリロイルォキ シアルキル〕 (イソ) シァヌレート、 ポリオキシアルカンポリオールの ポリ (メタ) ァクリ レート化物、 1一 (4一イソプロピルフエニル) 一 2—ヒドロキシー 2—メチルー 1一プロパノン等の光重合開始剤および 微粉末状シリ力充填剤等の無機充填剤を成分とする被 用硬化型樹脂組 成物が提案されている。
上記のような被覆用硬化型樹脂組成物は樹脂などの成形体基体表面に 被浸して硬化被膜を形成させる場合、 硬化時の空気中における硬化速度 などの硬化特性に優れ、 得られる硬化被膜の表面硬度、 耐引 Sき性、 耐 摩耗性、 可撓性、 表面光沢、 耐熱性、 耐水性、 耐溶剤性, 耐侯性および 基体への密着性などの多くの被膜特性が優れているが、 被覆材の用途に よってはさらに表面硬度、 耐ァルカリ性その他の被膜特性に優れた硬化 被膜が得られることが要求されている。 特に表面被 容器をリタ一ナブ ルボトルのようなリタ一ナブル容器として用いると、 回収して洗浄、 再 使用するために、 さらに高い表面硬度、 耐侯性などが要求されるほか、 アル力リ洗浄に耐えるための耐ァルカリ性その他の表面特性が要求され る。
本発明の目的は、 樹脂などの成形体基体表面に被 して硬化被膜を形 成させる場合、 硬化時の空気中における硬化速度などの硬化特性、 なら びに得られる硬化被膜の表面硬度、 耐引搔き性、 耐摩耗性、 可換性、 表 面光沢、 耐熱性、 耐水性、 耐アルカリ性、 耐溶剤性、 耐侯性および基体 への密着性などの多くの被腆特性が従来のものよりも優れている被 S用 硬化型樹脂組成物を提供することである。
本発明の他の目的は、 表面硬度、 耐引 Sき性、 耐摩耗性、 可撓性, 表 面光沢、 耐熱性、 耐水性、 耐アルカリ性、 耐溶剤性、 耐侯性および基体 への密着性などの特性が従来のものよりも優れる硬化被膜を有する被覆 材、 中でも表面被 a容器を提供することである。

( b ) 成分のポリオキシアルカンポリオールのポリ (メタ) ァクリ レ —ト化物の配合割合は、 前記 ( a ) 成分のポリ 〔 (メタ) ァクリロイル ォキシアルキル〕 (イソ) シァヌレート 1 0 0重量部に対して 5ないし 3 0 0重量部、 好ましくは 1 0ないし 1 5 0重量部の範囲とする。 ポリ ォキシアルカンポリオールのポリ (メタ) アタリ レート化物 (b ) の前 記ポリ [ (メタ) アタ リ ロイルォキシアルキル〕 (イソ) シァヌレー卜
( a ) 1 0 0重量部に対する配合割合が 3 0 0重!:部より多くなると、 得られる硬化被膜の可撓性が低下し、 被膜にクラックが生じるなどの問 題が生ずるようになる。
本発明の被 a用硬化型樹脂組成物に配合される被膜形成要素成分 (重 合性単量体成分) は、 (a ) および (b ) 成分の二成分のみからなる場 合もあるが、 さらにその他の重合性単量体成分を加えて共重合させるこ ともできる。 その他の重合成分としては、 たとえば前記ポリ 〔 (メタ) ァクリ ロイルォキシアルキル〕 (イソ) シァヌレート ( a ) を製造する 際の副生物または製造中間体、 例えばモノ 〔 (メタ) ァクリ αィルォキ シアルキル〕 ビス (ヒ ドロキシアルキル) (イソ) シァヌレー 卜、 前記 ポリオキシアルカンポリオールのポリ (メタ) アタリ レート化物 (b) を製造する際の副生物または製造中間体、 例えばポリォキシアルカンポ リオールのモノ (メタ) アタ リ レートまたはジ (メタ) アタ リ レート、 (メタ) アクリル酸メチル、 (メタ) アクリル酸ェチル、 (メタ) ァク リル酸 2—ヒ ドロキシェチルなどの (メタ) アク リル酸エステルなどが あげられる。
本発明の被 用硬化型樹脂組成物には、 基体表面に塗布して架樣硬化 させ硬化被膜を形成させるために、 光重合開始剤を配合する。 光重合関 始剤としては、 (c) 成分として 2—メチルー 1一 〔4— (メチルチオ) フエニル〕 一 2—モルフオ リ ノー 1一プロパノ ン (MMPMP) 、 およ び (d) 成分としてチォキサントン系光重合開始剤を併用する。
(d) 成分のチォキサントン系光ま合開始剤としては、 2, 4ージェ チルチオキサントン、 2, 4—ジメチルチオキサン トン、 2—クロルチ ォキサントンなどが例示でき、 これらは 1種単独で用いてもよく、 また は 2種以上を併用してもよい。
( c ) 成分の MMPMPの配合割合は、 (a) 成分と (b) 成分の合 計 100重量部に対して 0. 01ないし 20重 i部、 好ましくは 0. 0 5ないし 10重 i部とする。 上記の配合割合が 0. 01重量部より少な い場合は被膜の硬化が不十分であり、 20重量部より多い場合は被膜の 硬化が進んでクラックが発生するとともに褐色に着色する。
(d) 成分のチォキサントン系光重合開始剤の配合割合は、 (a) 成 分と (b) 成分の合計 100直量部に対して 0. 001重量部ないし 5 重量部、 好ましくは 0. 01ないし 3重!:部とする。 上記の配合割合が 0. 001重量部より少ない場合は被膜の硬化が不十分であり、 5重量 部より多い場合は被膜が著しく黄色に着色するとともに表面硬度も低下 する。 本発明の被覆用硬化型樹脂組成物には ( e ) 成分としてモノヒドロキ シベンゾフ; tノン系紫外線吸収剤を配合する。 このモノヒ ドロキシベン ゾフエノン系紫外線吸収剤としては、 2—ヒ ドロキシー 4ーメ トキシべ ンゾフエノン、 2—ヒ ドロキシー 4ーメ トキシー 2 ' —カルボキシベン ゾフエノン、 2—ヒ ドロキシー 4ーォク 卜キシベンゾフエノン、 2—ヒ ドロキシー 4ーステアロキシベンゾフエノン、 4ードデシ口キシー 2— ヒ ドロキシベンゾフエノン, 2—ヒ ドロキシー 4ーメ トキシー 5—スル フォベンゾフエノン ' ト リ ヒ ドレート、 2—ヒ ドロキシー 4ーメ トキシ ベンゾフエノン一 5—スルホン酸、 2—ヒ ドロキシー 4一 ( 2—ヒ ドロ キシー 3—メタクリ ロキシ) プロポキシベンゾフエノンなどが例示でき、 これらは 1種単独で用いてもよく、 また 2種以上を併用してもよい。
( e ) 成分のモノ ヒ ド αキシベンゾフヱノン系紫外線吸収剤の配合割 合は、 ( a ) 成分と ( b ) 成分の合計 1 0 0重!:部に対して 0 . 0 1な いし 2 0重量部、 好ましくは 0 . 0 3ないし 1 0重量部とする。 上記の 配合割合が 0 . 0 1重量部より少ない場合は被膜の着色が明らかである とともに、 基体の耐侯性改良効果も不十分であり、 2 0重量部より多い 場合は被膜の硬化が不十分である。
本発明の被 用硬化型樹脂組成物には、 その途布作業性を向上させる ために、 ( f ) 成分として有機溶剤が加えられ、 溶液状態または懸¾状 態に維持される, 有機溶剤は樹脂組成物を液体化または! K¾液化したり、 樹脂組成物の粘度を 節したりあるいは成形物に対する濡れ性を向上さ せる目的でも使用される, ( ί ) 成分の有機溶剤としては、 ベンゼン、 トルエン、 キシレン、 タメン、 ェチルベンゼン、 へキサン、 ヘプタン、 オクタン、 石油ェ一テル、 リグ口イン、 シクロへキサン、 メチルシクロ へキサンなどの炭化水素、 堪化メチレン、 クロ口ホルム、 四塩化炭素、 ブ口モホルム、 二塩化エチレン、 トリ クロルエチレン、 パークロルェチ レン、 三塩化工タン、 四塩化工タン、 二塩化プロピレン、 クロ口ベンゼ ン、 ブロモベンゼンなどのハロゲン化炭化水素、 メタノール、 ェタノ一 ル、 イソプロパノール、 ブタノール、 ペンタノール、 へキサノール、 シ クロへキサノール、 エチレングリ コール、 プロピレングリコール、 グリ セリン、 エチレングリ コールモノメチルェ一テル、 ジエチレングリコー ルなどのアルコール、 アセ トン、 メチルェチルケトン、 メチルイソブチ ルケ トン、 シクロへキサノンなどのケトン、 ジェチルエーテル、 ジブ口 ピルエーテル、 ブチルェチルエーテル、 ジブチルェ一テル、 エチレング リ コールジメチルェ一テル、 ジエチレングリ コールジメチルェ一テルな どのエーテル、 ァセ卜二ト リル、 プロピオ二ト リル、 力プロニト リルな どの二ト リル、 ギ酸メチル、 ギ酸ェチル、 醉酸メチル、 齚酸ェチル、 齚 酸プロピル、 酢酸イソプチル、 醉酸ブチル、 酢酸ペンチル、 安息香酸メ チル、 安息香酸ェチルなどのエステル等を例示することができ、 これら は 1種または 2種以上を使用することができる.
( f ) 成分の有機溶剤の配合割合は、 (a ) 成分と (b ) 成分の合計
1 0 0重量部に対して通常 5ないし 3 0 0 0重!:部、 好ましくは 1 0な いし 2 0 0 O fii部の範囲である,
本発明の被!!用硬化型樹脂組成物は、 前記必須成分のみからなる組成 物である場合もあるが、 さらに必要に応じて重合禁止剤、 透明性を損な わない充填剤、 溶剤、 酸化防止剤などの安定剤、 蛍光增白剤、 ポリメチ ル (メタ) アタリ レート、 ポリ ウレタンァクリ レート、 ポリエステルァ クリ レートなどの (反応性) オリゴマーおよびポリマ一などの各種添加 剤を配合することができる, これらの添加剤の配合割合は適宜である, 本発明の被 II用硬化型樹脂組成物中には、 微粉末状シリ力その他の微 粉末状無機充填剤を配合しないのが好ましい。 このような微粉末状無機 充填剤を配合すると、 耐ァルカリ性が不良になるので好ましくない. 本発明の被 a用硬化型樹脂組成物は、 前記必須成分および必要に応じ て加えられる安定剤などの各種添加剤成分の原料混合物を 合し、 これ を通常 π—ル、 バンパリ一ミキサー、 ボールミル、 アトライタ、 ゥイツ パー、 オークスミキサー、 ディソルバー、 ホモジナイザー、 コロイドミ ル、 サンドミル、 振動ミル、 ミキサー、 混合携拌槽などを用いる混練混 合操作により均一に溶解あるいは分散することにより製造される。
本発明の被覆材は、 上記の被覆用硬化型樹脂組成物から得られる硬化 被膜が成形体の基体表面上に形成され被 sされた被覆材である。
基体としては熱可塑性樹脂、 熱硬化性樹脂、 金属、 ガラスなど、 任意 の成形体であり得るが、 特に熱可塑性樹脂の成形体が適している。 成形 体の形状はフィルム状、 シート状、 板状、 容器、 その他いかなる形状の 成形体であっても差し支えない。
基体層を構成する熱可塑性樹脂としては、 a—ォレフイ ンの単独重合 体または α—才レフィンを主成分とする共重合体などのポリオレフィン 類、 ポリアクリル酸エステル樹脂、 ポリカーボネート樹脂、 ポリエステ ル榭脂、 ポリアミ ド樹脂などを例示することができる。 これらの熱可塑 性樹脂のうちで、 被覆材を構成する基体樹脂層はポリオレフイ ン類、 ポ リアクリル酸エステル樹脂、 ポリエステル樹脂またはポリカーボネート 榭脂であることが好ましく、 とくにポリオレフイン類またはポリエステ ル榭脂であることが好ましい,
前記ポリオレフイン類としては、 エチレン、 プロ ピレン、 1ーブテン、 1一へキセン、 4ーメチルー 1一ペンテン、 1ーォクテン、 1ーデセン などの α—ォレフィンの単独重合体、 前記 α—ォレフィンの二種以上の 混合物からなる共重合体、 または前記 α—才レフインを主成分とし、 か つ酔酸ビニル、 プロピオン酸ビニルなどの低級脂肪族カルボン酸ビニル、 アクリル酸メチル、 アクリル酸の金 Λ塩、 メタクリル酸メチル、 メタク リル酸の金 Λ埴などのァク リル系カルボン酸エステル、 アク リル系カル ボン酸の埴などの他の成分を少量 (たとえば、 3 0モル%以下) 含有す る共重合体などを例示することができる。 これらのポリオレフィン類の うちでは、 結晶性を有するポリオレフイン類が通常使用される。
前記ポリアクリル系カルボン酸エステル樹脂としては、 アクリル酸メ チル、 アク リル酸ェチル、 メタクリル酸メチル、 メタクリル酸ェチルな どのァク リル系カルボン酸エステルモノマ一の単独重合体または共重合 体を例示することができる。 これらのポリアク リル系カルボン酸エステ ル樹脂のうちでは、 ポリメタクリル酸メチルを本発明の熱可塑性樹脂基 体樹脂層に使用することが好ましい。
前記ポリカーボネー卜樹脂としては、 ビスフエノール A · ポリカーボ ネー卜などを例示することができる。 前記ポリエステル樹脂としては、 ポリエチレンテレフタレート、 ポリエチレンテレフタレート · ナフタレ ート、 ポリテトラメチレンテレフタレート、 ポリエチレンテレフタレー 卜 ♦ イソフタレート、 ビスフエノール A · イソフタル酸 ' テレフタル酸 共重箱合体、 ポリエチレンナフタレート樹脂、 ォキシ安息香酸重縮合体 などを例示することができる。 前記ポリアミ ド樹脂としては、 ナイロン 6、 ナイロン 6 . 6、 ナイロン 1 0、 ナイロン 1 2などをあげることが できる,
また前記樹脂以外にも、 ポリアセタールやポリ スチレン、 ァクリ ロ二 ト リル ' スチレン共重合体, アク リ ロニ ト リル ' ブタジエン · スチレン 共 ί [合体、 ポリスルホン樹脂、 ポリフヱニレンオキサイ ド、 変性ポリフ ェニレンオキサイド、 ポリフエ-レンサルファイ ド樹脂、 ポリエーテル スルホン樹脂などを例示することができる,
基体を構成する熱硬化型樹脂としては、 不飽和ポリエステル樹脂、 ェ ポキシ樹脂、 ジァリルフタレート樹脂、 ポリアリルグリ コ一ルカ一ボネ 一ト樹脂などを例示することができる。
また基体を構成する金属としては、 アルミニウム、 鉄、 ステンレス鋼 などを例示することができる。
本発明の被覆用硬化型榭脂組成物で樹脂などの成形体の基体表面を被 覆する際には、 成形体の基体表面に、 種々の溶剤による洗浄、 アルカ リ 水溶液による洗浄、 界面活性剤による洗浄、 超音波による洗浄、 ¾解に よる洗浄、 ブラス ト処理、 サンドブラス ト処理、 酸またはアルカ リによ るエッチング処理、 フレーム処理、 コロナ放 ¾処理、 アーク放罨処理、 グロ一放亀処理, プラズマ放電処理、 化成処理などの種々の基体処理を 施すことができる。
また前記成形体の基体表面に本発明の被覆用硬化型樹脂組成物からな る硬化被膜を形成する際、 基体層と外被膜層との間にプライマーからな る中間接着層を置いて三層稜層体とすることにより、 両層間の密着性を 向上させることも可能である。 基体屠がポリオレフィ ンである場合には、 プライマーとしては、 a , )3—不飽和カルボン酸、 その酸無水物、 その エステルなどの α, β一不飽和カルボン酸またはその誘導体成分がグラ フ 卜された変性ポリオレフイ ンが通常使用される。
このように、 必要に応じて表面処理またはプライマー処理の施された 成形体の基体層表面上に、 本発明の被覆用硬化型樹脂組成物を塗布して、 硬化処理することにより硬化被膜が形成され、 被 材が得られる。
基体表面上に途布する方法としては、 刷毛途り法, スプレー法、 浸濱 法、 バーコ一ト法、 ロールコーター法、 スピンコータ一法、 ゲルコータ 一法などの従来から公知の方法を採用することができる。
また途膜を乾燥させる方法としては、 自然乾燥法、 キャリアガスによ る強制乾燥法、 赤外線伊、 遠赤外線炉、 熱風炉を用いた加熱乾燥法など を例示することができる, こうして形成された ¾膜を硬化させ、 硬化被膜を形成させる方法とし ては、 活性光線が用いられるが、 光とくに紫外線により重合架樣硬化さ せる方法が採用される。 この光硬化法では、 通常一 1 0ないし + 1 5 0 'C、 好ましくは 5ないし 1 3 0 X:、 特に好ましくは 1 0〜 8 0 の温度 で光照射が実施される。 光照射時間は通常 1 s e cないし 1 h r、 好ま しくは 1 s e cないし 1 O m i nである。

本発明の表面被覆容器は前記被 »用硬化型樹脂組成物から得られる硬 化被膜がポリ エステル系樹脂製容器の外表面を被 Sするように形成され たものである,
ポリエステル系樹脂としてはポリエチレンテレフタレート樹脂、 ポリ テトラメチレンテレフタレート樹脂、 ポリエチレンナフタレート樹脂な どがあげられるが、 ポリエチレンテレフタレー卜およびポリエチレンナ フタ レ一 トを主成分とする樹脂が好ましい。 ポリエチレンテレフタレ一 トを主成分とする樹脂は樹脂原料としてエチレングリ コールおよびテレ フタル酸を主たる原料とし、 必要に応じて ト リメチレングリコール、 テ トラメチレングリ コール、 へキサメチレングリコール、 ビスフエノール A、 ヒ ドロキノン、 レゾルシン等の他のジオールおよびイソフタル酸、 ナフタレンジカルボン酸、 4 , 4 ' ージフエノキシエタンジカルボン酸、 アジピン酸、 セバチン酸、 シクロへキサンジカルボン酸等の他のジカル ボン酸を加えた榭脂原料から得られるポリエステル系樹脂である。
ポリエチレンナフタレートを主成分とする樹脂とは、 2 , 6—ナフタ レンジカルボン酸およびエチレングリ コールを主たる原料とし、 必要に 応じて 卜 リ メチレングリコール、 テトラメチレングリ コール、 へキサメ 午レングリコール、 ビスフエノール A , ヒ ドロキノン、 レゾルシン等の 他のジオールおよびイソフタル酸、 ナフタレンジカルボン酸、 4, 4 ' ージフエノキシエタンジカルボン酸、 アジピン酸、 セバチン酸、 シクロ へキサンジカルボン酸等の他のジカルボン酸を加えた樹脂原料から得ら れるポリエステル系樹脂である,
このようなポリエステル系樹脂、 特にポリエチレンテレフタレ一トを 主成分とする樹脂は前記被 a用硬化型樹脂組成物との適合性が良好で、 密着性に優れた表面被浸容器が得られる。
容器としてはボトル、 カップなど任意の形態のものであり得るが、 リ ターナブル容器として使用されるボトルが好ましい。 これらの容器はブ 口一成形、 真空成形、 圧空成形など、 任意の成形方法のものが使用でき る。 また容器は使い捨て式のものにも使用できるが、 回収、 洗浄、 再使 用に耐える表面硬度、 耐アルカリ性、 耐侯性など、 優れた被覆特性の硬 化被膜が形成されるため、 リタ一ナブルボトルなどのリターナブル容器 としての使用が好ましい。
本発明の表面被 s容器において、 上記のようなポリエステル系樹脂製 容器の外表面に形成する前記被覆用硬化型樹脂組成物の硬化被膜の膜厚 は 0 . 5ないし 5 0 μ ιη、 好ましくは 3〜 3 0 μ mとするのが望ましい。 前記被 用硬化型樹脂組成物からなる硬化被膜はポリエステル系榭脂と の密着性に優れるため、 硬化被腆はポリエステル系樹脂製容器の外表面 に直接形成することができるが、 場合によってはプライマー等の中間層 を両層間に形成してもよい。
硬化被膜を形成する方法はポリエステル系樹脂容器の外表面に前記被 a用硬化型樹脂組成物を塗布する工程を含む方法であれば、 その具体的 な方法は制限されないが、 ポリエステル系樹脂製容器を回転させながら 外表面に前記被 S用硬化型樹脂組成物を途布する工程、 容器を回転させ ながらガラス転移温度以下の温度で途膜を乾燥させる工程、 およびノま たは容器を回転させながら紫外棟を照射して 膜を硬化させる工程を含 む方法が好ましい。 以下これらの工程を含む製造方法について説明する。 容器に前記被 «用硬化型樹脂組成物を途布する際の前処理として、 容 器の外表面に、 種々の溶剤による洗浄、 アルカリ水溶液による洗浄、 界 面活性剤による洗浄、 超音波による洗浄、 ¾解による洗浄、 ブラスト処 理、 サンドブラスト処理、 酸またはアルカリによるエッチング処理、 フ レーム処理、 コロナ放锾処理、 アーク放電処理、 グロ一放電処理、 ブラ ズマ放電処理、 化成処理などの種々の前処理を施すことができるが、 ポ リエステル系樹脂と樹脂組成物の適合性が良好であるため、 前処理とし てはアルカリ水溶液または界面活性剤による洗浄で十分である。 このよ うな洗浄後は容器をポリエステル系樹脂のガラス転移温度以下の温度で 乾燥させる。
前記被 用硬化型樹脂組成物の途布は容器を回転させながら行い、 乾 燥硬化後の膜厚が 0 . 5ないし 5 0 μ πιになるように j¾布する。 容器の 外表面上に塗布する方法としては、 刷毛塗り法、 スプレー法、 浸漬法、 バーコ—ト法、 ロールコーター法、 スピンコータ—法、 ゲルコ―タ—法 などの従来から公知の方法を採用することができる。 塗布もポリエステ ル系樹脂のガラス転移温度以下の温度で行う,
塗布後は容器を回転しながら、 ポリエステル系樹脂のガラス転移温度 以下の温度で途膜を乾燥させる。 塗膜を乾燥させる方法としては、 自然 乾燥法、 キャリアガスによる強制乾燥法、 赤外線炉、 遠赤外線炉、 熱風 炉を用いた加熱乾燥法などがあげられる。
^膜の乾燥後、 容器を回転させながらポリエステル系樹脂のガラス転 移温度以下の温度で、 容器の各点に平均して 5 0 0ないし 5 0 0 O m J Z c m 2の稜算光量になるように紫外線を照射して塗膜を硬化させる。 積算光量が 5 0 0 m J c m 2未満では、 前記被?!用硬化型樹脂組成物 が+分硬化せず、 耐僅付性、 密着性が不合格になりやすく、 また積算光 量が S O O O m J Z c m2より多い場合は、 被覆体のポリエステル系樹 脂ボトルの紫外線による劣化が生じやすい。 光源としては約 2 9 0 n m の波長の紫外線を多く含むものが好ましく、 水冷式のものよりも空冷式 のものが好ましい。
上記の製造工程において、 ガラス転移温度以下の温度に維持するのは、 容器が変形しないようにするためである。 また容器を回転させるのは塗 膜の形成を均一に行うためであり、 容器を回転しないと、 前記被 If用硬 化型榭脂組成物がタレて、 円周方向の膜厚が不均一になりやすい。 容器 の回転は中心軸を水平方向にし、 これを中心に回転させる。
上記により製造された表面被覆容器は、 内部に飲料、 食品などの内容 物を充填して貯蔵、 運搬、 使用される。 リタ一ナブル容器として使用す るときは、 使用後の容器を回収し、 アルカリ水溶液および Zまたは界面 活性剤により洗浄後再度內容物を充填して再使用される。
本発明によれば、 特定のポリ 〔 (メタ) ァクリロイルォキシアルキル〕 (イソ) シァヌレー卜、 特定のポリオキシアルカンポリオールのポリ (メタ) ァクリ レート化物、 特定の光窻合開始剤、 特定の紫外線吸収剤、 および有機溶剤を特定 i配合したので、 樹脂などの成形体基体表面に被 膜して硬化被膜を形成させる場合、 硬化時の空気中における硬化速度な どの硬化特性ならびに得られる硬化被膜の表面硬度、 耐引 Sき性、 耐摩 耗性、 可撓性、 表面光沢、 耐熱性、 耐水性、 耐アルカリ性、 耐溶剤性、 耐侯性および基体への密着性などの多くの被膜特性が従来のものより優 れた被 用硬化型樹脂組成物および被覆材が得られる。
本発明の表面被覆容器は、 ポリエステル系樹脂容器の外表面を前記被 覆用硬化型榭脂組成物の硬化被膜で被膜したので、 表面硬度、 耐引 Sき 性、 耐縻耗性、 可換性、 表面光沢. 耐熱性, 耐水性、 耐アルカリ性、 耐 溶剤性、 耐侯性および基体への密着性などの多くの被膜特性が従来のも のより優れた硬化被膜が形成され、 使用後回収して洗浄後使用を橾返す リ ターナブル容器としての使用も可能である,
本発明の表面被 a容器の製造方法は, 容器を回転しながら前記被覆用 硬化型樹脂組成物を途布し、 ガラス転移点以下の温度で特定の稜算光量 で紫外線を照射して硬化被膜を形成するようにしたので、 容器を変形さ せることなく、 被覆用硬化型樹脂組成物の塗膜を均一に形成することが でき、 しかも硬化時の空気中における硬化速度などの硬化特性に優れ、 前記のような表面被覆容器を効率よく製造することができる。 発明を実施するための最良の形態
次に本発明を実施例および比較例によって具体的に説明する。 なお明 細嘗本文または実施例において評価は次の方法で行った。 なお、 容器の 評価は容器から試験片を切り出して平らなシートにして行った。
( 1 ) 光線透通率
J I S K 6 7 1 に準じて行った。
( 2 ) 密着性
J I S K 5 4 0 0— 1 9 7 9中のゴパン目テストに準じて行 つた。 判定は 1 0 0個のゴパン目中、 何個が接著していたかで示す。 容器から切り出した試驗片については、 試験片に被膜を通して基材へ 達する 6 0度に交差した ffiを力ッターで入れ、 セロハンテープを密着さ せた後に 4 5度方向に強く引張り、 被膜の剥離の有無を目視にて SHベた,
( 3 ) テーバー摩耗
A S T M D— 1 0 4 4の方法に準じて、 摩耗輪 C S— 1 0、 荷重 5 0 0 gで被膜上で 1 0 0 0回転させる。 試験後の被膜の摩耗量で 耐摩耗性を表わす。 摩耗量が少ないほど耐摩耗性が良い。 (4) 落砂摩耗
J I S T 8 147— 1 975の方法に準じて 800 gの炭化 珪素質研削材を被膜上に落下させる。 試験前後の表面光沢 (グロス) の 差で耐摩耗性を表わす。 数宇が小さいほど耐摩耗性がよい。
(5) 鉛筆硬度
J I S K 5651に準じて測定した。
( 6 ) 耐ァルカリ性
4 w t %の a OH水溶液に 5 O'Cで 5時間浸濱した後に、 試 験片を+分に水で洗浄した後に被浸膜の表面状態を目視で SBベた。
(7) 耐侯性
試験片をサンシャインゥェザ口メータ一中に 600時間保持し、 外被膜層の外観および密着性を評価した。
実施例および比較例において用いた化合物は次の略号で示される。

実施例 1
TAE I C 75 g , DP PH 25 g、 MMPMP 1 g、 2—ク 口ルチオキサントン 0. 25 g、 2—ヒ ドロキシー 4ーメ トキシベンゾ フエノン l g、 レべリング剤の BY K— 344 (BYKシミ一社製) 0. 0025 gを秤量して授拌機の付いた混合槽に仕込み、 メチルシクロへ キサン 63. 5 g、 メチルイソブチルケトン 63. 5 gを添加して、 窒 索雰囲気下に 6 O'Cまで昇温した後 2時間授拌し、 さらに室温まで放冷 して被 S用組成物 〔A〕 を胡製した。
—方ポリ一 4ーメチルー 1一ペンテン (三井石油化学工業株式会社製、 商標; TPX MX 004 ) の 3 mm厚の射出成形シートを、 無水マレ イン酸変性 E P R (エチレン一プロ ピレンラバ一、 無水マレイン酸含量; 7. 7 w t %) の 1 5 g 1濃度の 1 , 1, 1一トリ クロルェタン溶液 に 1 0秒間浸演した後、 室 ffiで 5分聞乾燥してブライマー処理を施した。 このプライマー処理 TP Xシ一卜にエア一スプレーガンを用いて、 上記 被覆用組成物 [A〕 を乾燥時の膜厚が 1 8 μπιになるように塗布して、 60°Cで 5分間乾燥した後に、 空冷式の UV照射器 (ゥシォ株式会社製) を用いて、 2000πlJ Zcm2の照射線量の紫外線を照射してT PX の表面を被覆した被 S材の試験片を作製した。 その試験片の評価結果を 表 1に示す。
比較例 1
実施例 1の被 用組成物 〔A〕 の胡製において、 TAE I C 7 5 g、 D P PH 2 5 g、 I H P 5 g、 メチルシクロへキサン 63. 5 g、 メチルイソプチルケトン 63. 5 gを各々計り取り、 *拌下に n—ブタ ノールシリカゾル (日産化学製、 平均粒子径約 1 6 nm、 屈折率約 1. 50の無水シリカの 30w t %n—ブタノ一ル懸滞液) を液!:として 3 3 g添加する以外は同様にして被?!用組成物 〔B〕 を调製した。 統いて 実施例 1 と同様にして試験片を作製した。 その轼験片の評価結果を表 1 に示す。 表

厚み 250 μπιの二軸延伸ポリエステルフィルム (東レ株式会社製、 商標;ルミラー) を、 界面活性剤を少 i含む水で十分に洗浄して 50 で 5分間乾燥した。 このフィルムにエアースプレーガンを用いて、 実施 例 1で W製した被 S用組成物 〔A〕 を乾燥時の膜厚が 20 μπιになるよ うに ¾布して、 60てで 5分間 Κ燥した後に、 空冷式の UV照射器 (ゥ シォ株式会社製) を用いて、 200 OmJZcm2の照射線 1:の紫外線 を照射してポリエステルの表面を被覆した被 S材の試験片を作製した。 その試験片の評価結果を表 2に示す。
比較例 2
実施例 2において、 比較例 1で調製した被浸用組成物 〔B〕 を、 ポリ エステルフィルムの表面に被 して被 S材の試験片を作成し、 同様の試 験を行った。 その試験片の評価結果を表 2に示す,

実施例 1において、 TAE I Cおよび D Ρ ?^1の配合量を丁 £ I C 20 g、 DP PH 80 gに変更した以外は同様にして被覆用組成物 〔C〕 を調製した,
—方硬 Kガラスを、 無水マレイン酸の一塩基酸分をメチルエステル化 した化合物で変性した E P R (エチレン一プロピレンラバ一、 無水マレ イン酸のメチルエステル化物含!:; 4. 5w t %) の 15 gZ 1濃度の 1, 1, 1一トリ クロルェタン溶液に 10秒間浸演した後、 室温で 5分 間乾燥してプライマー処理を施した。 このブライマ一処理硬質ガラスに エアースプレーガンを用いて、 上記被覆用組成物 〔C〕 を乾燥時の膜厚 が 12 μπιとなるように途布した。 以降の操作は実施例 1と同様にして 試験片を作製した。 その試驗片の評価結果を表 3に示す。 実施例 4
実施例 1において、 メチルシクロへキサンを使用せず、 メチルイソブ チルケトンを 1 50 g用いて、 また脂肪族ポリエステル樹脂 (東洋紡株 式会社製、 商標パイロン 300、 数平均分子量; 25, 000) 20 g を追加使用して被覆用組成物 〔D〕 を婀製した。 この被覆用組成物 [D〕 中に、 実施例 2で使用した二軸延伸ポリエステルフィルムを浸演した後 ゆっく りと引き上げ、 実施例 2と同様にして乾燥時の膜厚が 8 μπιの試 驗片を作製した。 その試験片の評価結果を表 3に示す。

ポリエチレンテレフタレ一ト製の直径 1 00 mm、 肉厚 2〜 3 mmの 二軸延伸ボトルを、 界面活性剤を少量含む水で十分に洗浄して 50てで 5分 Γ ½燥した。 この二軸延伸ボトルを床面と水平に 20 r pmで回転 させながらエア一スプレーガンを用いて、 実施例 1で調製した被覆用組 成物 [ A〕 を乾燥時の膜厚が 1 8 μ πιになるように途布して、 6 0 °Cで 5分間戟燥した後に、 空冷式の U V照射器 (ゥシォ株式会社製) を用い て、 2 0 0 O m J Z c m2の照射線量の紫外線を照射して二軸延伸ポト ルの表面を被覆した被 a材の試驗片を作製した。 その試験片の評価結果 を表 4に示す。
比較例 3
実施例 5において、 比較例 1で W製した被覆用組成物 〔B〕 を、 ボ卜 ルの表面に被 Sし、 統いて実施例 5と同様にして試験片を作製し、 同様 の試験を行った。 その試験片の評価結果を表 4に示す。

8. 精算光!:が 5 0 0ないし 5 0 0 0m Jノ c m2となるように紫外 線照射を行う請求の範囲第 6項または 7項記載の方法。
9. 途布する工程は、 ポリエステル系樹脂容器を回転させながら外表 面に被 用硬化型樹脂組成物を塗布する工程である請求の範囲第 6項な いし第 8項のいずれかに記載の方法。
10. 容器を回転しながらポリエステル系樹脂のガラス耘移温度以下の 温度で塗膜を乾燥する工程をさらに含む請求の範囲第 6項ないし第 9項 のいずれかに記載の方法。
11. 容器を回転しながら紫外線を照射して塗膜を硬化させ、 硬化被膜 を形成する工程をさらに含む請求の範囲第 6項ないし第 1 0項のいずれ かに記載の方法。
