Description

Title: Advanced hygienic protection

The invention relates to improved hygienic protection. In the context of this patent application, the following will designate by "hygienic protection" the various comfort products and / or for medical use, for the use of children or adults, such as for example diapers infants and / or for adults, medical diapers, incontinence diapers, feminine protections, in particular periodic towels, periodic tampons, etc.

Research carried out for several years on materials and / or processes for manufacturing hygienic protections has resulted in increasingly sophisticated products which offer both good conditions of comfort and hygiene.

However, there is still a need in the development of products capable of offering an even higher level of protection and hygiene. The invention aims to meet this need by providing a new improved hygienic protection.

The hygienic protection according to the invention, which can be used for infant, adult and / or medical hygiene, comprising at least one impermeable outer sheet, a permeable veil and an absorbent layer disposed between said outer sheet and said permeable veil, is characterized in that it comprises one or more antiseptics.

Advantageously, the antiseptic (s) used in the context of the present invention are chosen from natural antiseptics.

According to one embodiment of the present invention, the antiseptic is of natural origin and is chosen from essential oils, in particular those of vegetable origin.

Mention will be made, by way of nonlimiting examples of natural antiseptics which can be used in the context of the present invention, essential oils of geranium, lavender or lemongrass. According to another embodiment of the present invention, the natural antiseptic consists essentially of essential oil of Melaleuca alternifolia.

The essential oil of Melaleuca alternifolia is obtained in particular by steam distillation of fresh leaves and twigs of Melaleuca alternifolia, as described in particular in the publication Phytotherapy, September 1985, n ° 15, pp. 5-8.

According to another embodiment of the present invention, the natural antiseptic consists of a mixture essentially comprising, in percentage relative to the weight:

- about 35% of terpinene-1-ol-4; - about 20% of gamma terpinene;

- about 10% of alpha terpinene;

- about 5% of cineole; and

- about 20% p-cymene.

Preferably, the hygienic protection according to the invention comprises from approximately 0.2 mg to approximately 20 g of antiseptic.

According to the invention, the natural antiseptic can be deposited on the hygienic protection in pure form.

According to one embodiment of the present invention, the antiseptic can be deposited on the hygienic protection in the form of a gel or dry powder or else in a diluted form, for example in aqueous solution or in anhydrous solution. As a variant, it can be dissolved using a solubilizing agent or a solvent, in particular an alcoholic solvent, for example ethyl alcohol.

The choice of the solubilizing agent is not critical in itself and it may be, in particular when the antiseptic is an essential oil, any surfactant used for liposoluble products.

Preferably, the total weight of the antiseptic solution contained in the hygienic protection according to the invention will not exceed approximately 20 g. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the antiseptic solution comprises from approximately 1% by weight to approximately 10% by weight, relative to the total weight of the solution, essential oil of Melaleuca alternifolia in a solubilizing agent consisting of a mixture of coconut glyceryl oxyethylene, cetylstearyl oxyethylene, hydrogenated castor oil oxyethylene and distilled water. According to another embodiment of the present invention, the antiseptic solution comprises from approximately 2% by weight to approximately 30% by weight, relative to the total weight of the solution, of geranium essential oil in a solubilizing agent consisting of a mixture of coconut glycerile oxyethylene, cetylstearyl oxyethylene, hydrogenated castor oil oxyethylene and distilled water.

According to an alternative embodiment of the present invention, in particular when the antiseptic used has an odor which can be unpleasant, the hygienic protection according to the invention further comprises one or more perfumes, such as those conventionally used in cosmetic products . Mention will be made, by way of nonlimiting examples of perfumes which can be used in the context of the present invention, of the essences of lemon, lily of the valley, distilled tangerine, jasmine or lavender.

For example, the perfume (s) may be present in the hygienic protection of the invention, at a concentration varying between approximately 1% and approximately 5% by weight relative to the weight of the antiseptic.

According to another embodiment of the present invention, the hygienic protection of the invention further comprises a preservative, protective with regard in particular to bacteria, yeasts and / or fungi. Specifically, the preservative can be used at a concentration varying between about 0.1% by weight and about 1% by weight relative to the weight of the antiseptic.

Mention will be made, by way of nonlimiting example of a preservative usable in the context of the present invention, of the product available from the company Hassiauer, France, under the trade name "Bactiphen 2506 G". The antiseptic solution can be deposited on the hygienic protection according to the invention by any means known per se. For example, the antiseptic solution is deposited by spraying or else by a licking or contactless nozzle during the manufacturing process of the hygienic protection, preferably at the end of it.

For example, the antiseptic is advantageously deposited on the constituent elements of hygienic protection in contact with the skin or the mucous membranes.

According to another embodiment of the present invention, the antiseptic is deposited on the constituent elements of the hygienic protection having sufficient permeability to allow a transfer of the antiseptic to the skin or the mucous membranes and, thus a contact of the antiseptic with the skin or mucous membranes.

Thus, in the case where the hygienic protection is an infant diaper, the antiseptic can be deposited at the level of the internal veil.

According to another embodiment of the present invention, the antiseptic can be deposited at the level of the intermediate veil.

According to another embodiment of the present invention, the antiseptic is deposited on the hygienic protection in a state encapsulated in a vehicle, for example in a lipophilic polymer when using an oily antiseptic pure or diluted in an oil.

In this way, the possible drawbacks posed by the odor which certain antiseptics can give off are eliminated.

The encapsulation or microencapsulation technique used in the context of the present invention is classic in itself and does not need to be described in more detail here.

As a variant, the antiseptic (s) can be deposited using vectors usually used in the chemical or cosmetological industry, such as liposomes or phospholipids, to allow a delayed action of the antiseptic and / or to provide a protective role for the active ingredient vis-à-vis the outside. Additional advantages and characteristics of the present invention will become apparent in the light of the more detailed description which follows of an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, given solely by way of illustration and without limitation. EXAMPLE:

A solution containing 0.02 g of a spray solution is deposited on a children's diaper comprising an inner veil of hydrophilic polypropylene, an outer sheet of polyethylene and an absorbent layer of cellulose wadding between the inner veil and the outer sheet. essential oil of Melaleuca alternifolia in solution in 0.04 g of the solubilizing agent "Solubilizer 3 RS", commercially available from the Company Hassiauer, France and 0.5 g of distilled water.

After storage in its commercial packaging for at least one year at room temperature, the diaper shows a positive action against the pathogenic agents Staphylococcus Curreus, Escherichia Coli, Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, Cnadida Albicans and Aspergillus Niger.

It goes without saying that the present invention does not intend to be limited to the embodiment which has just been described but on the contrary embraces all variants. Claims

- about 35% of terpinne-1-ol-4; - around 20% gamma terpinene,

6. Hygienic protection according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the antiseptic is deposited in pure form or in the form of gel or dry powder or in a diluted form, in aqueous solution or in anhydrous solution .

7. Hygienic protection according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the antiseptic is deposited in encapsulated form or is contained in a vector.

8. Hygienic protection according to any one of Claims 1 to 8, characterized in that it comprises from approximately 0.2 mg to approximately 20 g of antiseptic.
