En position sur la bague, l'outil constitue une garde basse pour la main de l'utilisateur. Alternativement à la fixation sur la bague 50 de la pipette, on pourra fixer l'outil 2 au corps 32 de la pipette au-dessus de la poignée 36, au voisinage de la garde 45 ou à la place de celle-ci.
Dans le mode de réalisation de la figure 9, la partie d ' actionnement 6 a essentiellement la même configuration, l'orifice 70 étant cette fois circulaire en plan. La partie de fixation 4 comprend cette fois un collier souple ouvert cranté 90 adapté à être enroulé autour de la bague 50 de la pipette en une boucle fermée, et fixé sur lui-même par des moyens connus en soi, pour attacher l'outil 2 à la pipette 30.
