Abstract

According to the invention, the device for cleaning exhaust gases from an internal combustion engine includes neutralizers (1(1), 1(2)...., 1(n)) which are interconnected by tubes (6, 5) so as to form a multiple cleaning circuit for exhaust gases. The neutralizers (1(1), 1(2)...., 1(n)) are mounted with a certain distance between them so that the catalysts thereof (9) are separated by a distance which is selected according to the power of the internal combustion engine. Each neutralizer (1(1), 1(2)...., 1(n)) contains a body made of two split parts with truncated cone (2, 3) comprising cylindrical sleeves (4, 5) containing input and exhaust tubes (6, 7). An ejector is located on the cylindrical sleeve (4) on the side of the input tube (6), and a catalyst (9) is installed where the split parts (2, 3) of the body are interconnected, whereby the diameter of said catalyst (9) is more than 3.5 times bigger than diameter of the input tube (6). All neutralizers (1(1), 1(2)...., 1(n)), except for the last in the direction of flow of the exhaust gases, comprise exhaust splitters (10) which are installed behind catalysts (9) in front of the exhaust tubes (7).
