Damit der Liniendruck im Preßspalt 7 unter den Mindestdruck für das Stellelement 5 abgesenkt werden kann, ist zwischen den beiden Preßwalzen 2, 3 zumindest eine Druckfeder 13, 14 angeordnet, die im Preßspalt 7 eine die Preßwalzen 2, 3 auseinander drückende Gegenkraft erzeugt. Bevorzugt sind an jeder Längsseite der Vorrichtung jeweils zwei Federn 13, 14 zwischen den Lagergehäusen 15, 16 der Preßwalzen 2, 3 angeordnet, die von einem Distanzbolzen 17 auf einen einstellbaren Abstand gehalten werden. Diese Konstruktion ermöglicht neben der Veränderung der wirksamen Länge des Bolzens 17 eine Schwenkbewegung des Bolzens 17 relativ zu den Lagergehäusen 15, 16, damit die Anschwenkbewegung der Preßwalze 3 gegen die Preßwalze 2 nicht beeinträchtigt wird. Damit der Distanzbolzen 17 beim Abschwenken der Preßwalze 3 nicht abknickt, wird er in der Gelenkpfanne 18 von einem Spannring 20 in seiner Position gehalten. Durch Entfernen des Spannrings 20 kann der Distanzbolzen 17 mit der aufgeschraubten Hülse 19 komplett herausgenommen werden, falls die Vorrichtung ohne Wirkung der Federn 13, 14 betrieben werden soll.The length of the spacer bolt 17 can preferably be changed so that the basic position can be set in which the counterforce of the springs 13, 14 is effective.
