Abstract

Methods for producing conventional heating elements with an electrically conductive heating layer for space heating are complex. In addition, the coating compound used for producing the heating layer often does not exhibit a sufficient stability in storage. To rectify these drawbacks, the invention provides a method for producing an electrical heating layer according to which a coating compound, which contains at least one dispersion, at least one synthetic polymer provided in a dispersing agent, at least one dissolved dispersion resin provided in the dispersing agent, and graphite, is applied to a substrate and the applied coating compound is dried on said substrate.
