Die Fernüberwachung bzw. Fernsteuerung von Hausiπstallationen ist bekannt und kann über ein Festnetz- oder ein Mobiifunknetz erfolgen. So kann beispielsweise über einen PC mit angeschlossenem Modem ein Hausanschluss in einem Ferienhaus angewählt werden, dass wiederum über ein Modem mit einer Heizuπgsanlage verbunden ist.
