Abstract

L'invention concerne un système d'inscription en ligne à des cours et de contrôle pour un programme de formation d'une société, lequel système permet à un participant employé de s'inscrire à des cours par l'intermédiaire d'un serveur qui accède à une base de données des cours disponibles et des relevés des résultats du participant. Une liste des cours disponibles est présentée (106) au participant dans le réseau afin de permettre au participant de s'inscrire (114) à un ou plusieurs cours disponibles et de posséder un relevé des résultats en ligne mis à jour (120) à la fin du cours. Un employé du niveau administratif peut avoir accès au relevé des résultats en ligne afin de contrôler les progrès du participant. Ce système fournit une liste d'attente de chaque cours, des avertissements concernant la disponibilité des cours et des avertissements à propos de changements concernant les cours. Ce système met également automatiquement à jour un calendrier électronique (116) tenu par le participant et vérifie la disponibilité du participant pour suivre le cours à partir d'informations stockées dans ce calendrier électronique avant de permettre au participant de s'inscrire au cours. Ce système examine le relevé des résultats du participant pour vérifier que toute condition exigée (110) pour le cours soit remplie avant de permettre l'inscription.
