Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zum Herstellen von Polyethylen in Rohrreaktoren mit oder ohne Autoklaven, bei dem einem strömenden Fliessmedium, Ethylen enthaltend plus Comonomer, ein Radikalkettenstarter, mit oder ohne Kaltethylen zugeleitet wird. Es wire ein Drall zwischen zwei unter einem Winkel (66) zu mischender Ströme (61, 62) erzeugt oder durch Vorsehen eines Dralelementes (20, 80) im Strömungsquerschnitt (27, 28). Im Bereich einer Einspeisestelle (72, 81) für einen Radikalkettenstarter ist eine Querschnittsverengung (63, 67, 71) ausgebildet, an der der Radikalkettenstarter durch eine aussermittig angeordnete, optimierte Austrittsöffnung (44) eines Einspeisefinger (40) in die drallbehaftete Strömung (61, 62, 70) eingeleitet wird.
