Preferably, during said second draw a third set of random numbers is produced and at least one a wild ball symbol. The symbol forming part of said third set of randomly produced numbers matches with any number of said at least said first set of numbers with the result being compared to a pay table.
According to a preferred embodiment, the player selects six numbers to form each game and preferably selects one to ten games. When a player is ready to play having selected a game or game, the player executes a draw option whereupon two sets of numbers are randomly selected and matched with each said multiple sets of numbers forming each game, wherein said set of randomly produced numbers include a set of primary numbers including a symbol which represents a match with any number in each said multiple sets of numbers and a set of supplementary numbers which include a symbol which matches any number in each said games.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION
The present invention will now be described in more detail according to preferred but non limiting embodiment and with reference to the accompanying illustrations wherein:
Figures 1 and 2 show an elevation view of possible screen arrangements according to one embodiment of the invention.
Referring to figure 1 there is shown one possible screen layout according to one embodiment of the invention. The layout shown includes eight sets of six numbers each forming a game or card 1 which a player will use in a draw. It will be appreciated that other numerical combinations other than 8 sets and six numbers per set may be adopted and is a matter of design choice. The screen further comprises a draw button 2 which, when activated by a player will initiate the production by a "Megaball" TM which represents a pool of numbers of a first set 3 of primary numbers and a second set 4 of supplementary numbers. In addition to the primary numbers the Megaball pool produces a symbol 5 or "Wild" TM which matches any number in each game. The Megaball also produces a "Wild" with a supplementary number or numbers. The numbers and symbols may be produced by a random number generator. Preferably the Wild symbols match when there is a match between the primary numbers and the first set of numbers and a match between the supplementary numbers 4 and said first set of numbers 3. The game according to a preferred embodiment, is played according to the following steps. A pool of numbers is made available to a player on a screen
whereupon there is an automatic and random selection of numbers to form multiple sets of numbers forming games. The player selects numbers from that pool with which to play one or more games. According to one embodiment, the pool of numbers will comprise 1-50 numbers arranged on a display for the player preferably in numerical order. The pool of numbers is defined for the player ( for example 50 balls numbered 1 - 50). There is preferably an automatic selection of numbers from the pool and preferably sets of six numbers from the pool for each game or card with each game or card being independent of any other games. This allows the player to select the same number from the pool for different ( but not the same) games. Thus, there is a main draw for determining the game number combinations and a secondary draw from the pool which produces numbers and symbols from the mega ball for matching with the game numbers. Players may play one or more cards ( sets of numbers) per draw. Each game costs the same amount and are independent of any other game. By way of example a player may play up to ten games of six numbers each. A player need not play a complete card in that a player may select to play only one game, some of the games or all available games. When the player activates draw button 2 preferably six numbers with 0-2 supplementary numbers are generated. Also in the pool are "Wild" balls ( preferably from 1 to 3 ) added to the main ball pool. The Wild balls automatically match one number in each of the players games or cards after completion of the secondary draw. Each Wild ball drawn during drawing of the primary numbers counts as a Primary number when a match is registered with the numbers in the players game. In the same manner each Wild ball drawn during
drawing of the supplementary numbers counts as a supplementary number when the supplementary number registers a match, registers a match. As an example, if a player is playing 10 games or cards and draws a "Wild" in the primary 6 number draw and another Wild in the supplementary 2 number draw, 1 un hit number in each of their cards/games will be matched as a primary hit by the first Wild and a second will be matched as a supplementary hit by the second Wild. Prizes are paid according to a pay table but are applicable after the primary and supplementary numbers have been matched. Typically, a prize would be paid where a player achieves a) 2 primary numbers in a single card of 6 numbers or better b) 2 primary plus 1 supplementary, c) 3 primary d) 3 primary plus 1 supplementary e) 4 primary f) 4 primary plus 1 supplementary g) 5 primary h) 5 primary plus 1 supplementary i) 6 primary numbers.
Other pay options are available such as but not limited to 5 primary numbers plus one wild, 5 primary plus a supplementary wild or six of a kind.
Each game will cost the player a predetermined amount, in the example of figure 1 a player may bet 5c on each game. In the case of a 10 game play @ 5c per game, the player would bet 50c. A win may be displayed on a pop up panel. Bet options
may also be available for a multiple bet or double up. According to one embodiment the player may change the numbers selected for one or more games.
The primary object of the game is to match numbers and symbols from the second draw with numbers which were selected by the player from the first draw.
According to one embodiment, an initial screen which is displayed to the player comprises a two dimensional array of pool numbers. The game may be adapted as a skills game for one or multiple players at the same or remote locations.
Figure 2 shows an alternative screen display similar to that of figure 1. In this case however, no wild is shown accompanying supplementary numbers 9 and 30.
A wild has been drawn to accompany numbers 48, 42 , 12, 18 and 1 and as shown this can be used to match any number in game sets 1, 2 3 or 4. the game procedure is otherwise the same as for figure 1.
It will be recognized by persons skilled in the art that numerous variations and modifications may be made to the invention as broadly described herein without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
