Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein optoelektronisches Sendemodul mit einem Gehäuse (B), welches elektrische Anschlusskontakte (5) für das Zuführen und/oder Abführen elektrischer Signale oder das Zuführen elektrischer Energie aufweist, mit wenigstens einem im Gehäuse (3) angeordneten optischen Sendeelement (13) und mit wenigstens einem im oder am Gehäuse (3) gehaltenen Lichtwellenleiter (17), in dessen Einkoppelende (19) das von dem wenigstens einen optischen Sendeelement (13) emittierte Licht einkoppelbar ist, wobei das wenigstens eine optische Sendeelement (13) und das Einkoppelnde (19) des wenigstens einen Lichtwellenleiters (17) auf einem Trägerelement montiert sind. Des Weiteren betrifft die Erfindung ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines derartigen Sendemoduls.
