Abstract

An animal bed (10) having a cushioning core material (200) surrounded by an encasing (100). The encasing ( 100) has a face textile (320) disposed in contacting relation across an odor adsorbing layer (120). The odor adsorbing layer (120) includes an odor adsorbing agent (121) adhered to an interior of the face textile (320). A related method is also provided.
