Abstract

Mask plasters, as proposed according to the invention, are not yet known. In more technical areas there are self-adhesive masking tapes, masking tapes or stencils to be able to paint certain areas and to protect adjacent areas. However, such products are not known as mask plasters for the skin.

Cosmetic plasters are known and commercially available, for example under the name "Nivea Visage Kao Biore Clear up strip" a plaster for the nasal area, forehead and chin. Active ingredient plasters are also known from the more medical field, with the aid of which active ingredients can be supplied to the skin, including those in which the adhesive of the patch is more or less separated from the active ingredients, in some cases by means of quite complex measures.

However, these also include those that are more suitable for the requirements placed on a cosmetic plaster, in particular the plaster described in DE 34 23 293, in which printed active substance segments are arranged on an adhesive layer, with an also printed separating film segment between the active substance segment and the adhesive layer to avoid mutual migration of substances. Such segments are preferably applied by screen printing, dispersions with a high solids content being used. However, the problems described above when later removing such a patch are still unsolved.

On the other hand, there are self-adhesive products that can be easily glued to one or, in particular, between two surfaces, and which can then be removed from these surfaces (substrates) without leaving any residue and without damage by pulling on them in the direction of the bond plane, stripping them, so to speak like a wake-up ring made of a closed jar. Such products are commercially available as "tesa Power Strips", "tesa Poster Strips" or "3M command adhesive" and are intended in particular for technical applications. Occasionally, such “strip products” also include those that are intended for medical purposes, for example in US 4,024,312 and EP 747,027.

US Pat. No. 4,024,312 relates to a plaster with a highly elastic, rubber-like carrier and an adhesive coated thereon, the carrier being of great importance. Suggestions, for example, to incorporate active substances into the adhesive or the like, would also have the same disadvantages as the prior art described above. There are also no suggestions in the direction of a mask plaster.

EP 747.027 relates to a plaster with a classic wound covering, so to speak. The treatment of wounds is the concern of this publication, but at the same time a painless removal of the adhesive plaster by pulling on two opposing handles in opposite directions. Embedding active ingredients in the adhesive layer or coating the adhesive layer with active ingredients does not disclose this document, there are no suggestions regarding a mask patch.

The object of the invention was to remedy this, in particular to provide a mask plaster that does not have the disadvantages of the prior art, or at least not to the same extent, is skin-friendly, at the same time simple and easy to produce, and also the application, in particular when sticking on, when worn temporarily, and also when later peeling off is no problem.

The mask plaster according to the invention has at least one handle, but in particular two, possibly also several, and these two (or more) are preferably located at opposite areas or ends of the mask plaster. For this purpose, reference is expressly made to EP 747.027, also with regard to the easy and painless detachment from the skin that can be achieved with this.

The design of the handle or handles can advantageously take place in such a way that the adhesive is covered in the area of a handle, for example by a thin film or a printed varnish. For this, too, reference is made to EP 747.027, in particular column 3, lines 16 to 22. However, configurations with a film cover which is provided with an adhesive to the adhesive composition in accordance with DE 44 31 914 are also suitable, as are configurations in accordance with US 5,516,581, esp. for multi-layer adhesive film strips. Reference is also expressly made to this prior art with regard to the dimensions of handles. The carrier with its non-adhesive top side preferably has a lacquer, in particular a colorless, colored and / or transparent lacquer which is printed in particular, for example printed on the stippable adhesive film strip, this adhesive film strip initially sticking on both sides, then one side is equipped with this varnish non-adhesive. The underside of a mask plaster according to the invention is in particular uncoated, but possibly partially coated with these active substances and / or auxiliary substances. This means that at least part of the self-adhesive underside is available as an adhesive surface in order to stick the mask plaster onto the skin.

A partial coating of this underside can preferably be carried out by printing a mass containing the active ingredients and / or auxiliaries onto the underside, in particular in gravure printing, very particularly in screen printing. This technology is known and proven, however, in connection with this procedure, express reference is made to DE 34 23 293 C2, in particular also with regard to the process parameters specified there, such as dimensions, web speeds, drying and other process steps and configurations.

Instead of printing on active substances and / or auxiliary substances, other application methods are also possible, such as powdering or an application in the so-called transfer process, in which the active substances and / or auxiliary substances are first coated on an intermediate carrier and optionally dried or partially dried and then transferred to the underside of the mask patch.

According to the invention, however, a water-containing, highly viscous matrix containing active substances and / or auxiliaries is preferably printed, for example in the form of a hydrogel. A mask plaster according to the invention can preferably be produced in such a way that a hole is made in a carrier with a self-adhesive underside, in particular punched, and equipped with at least one handle. The individual plasters can, if necessary, be separated from a manufactured parent roll, in particular punched, in the desired shape and size. The die cuts can then be separated so as not to stick together again, especially as described in DE 196 41 094, to which reference is expressly made here. The shapes of the individual mask plasters according to the invention can also preferably be selected as set out in this publication in order to be able to design the separation inexpensively. First, a pressure-sensitive adhesive strip is produced according to Example I-8, DE 100 03 318 A1, to be precise in a thickness of 0.3 mm, adhesive on both sides.

This material is coated on one side with a non-stick matt lacquer. A cationically curing UV matt lacquer from SICPAAarberg is used. By adding 5% by weight of cylinder repelling agent, the printing ink is optimized for processing. Using an ARSOMAem 410 UV flex printing machine, the adhesive film is printed at a machine speed of 30 m / min via a flexographic printing station. The precisely defined ink transfer to the flexographic printing plate takes place by means of a corresponding anilox roller using the negative doctor blade process.
