Abstract

The invention relates to the light industry, in particular to sorption articles used for absorbing humidity and evaporation given off by an organism and can be used for producing hygienic inserts for footwear. The inventive absorbing hygienic insert comprises at least one moisture-permeable (membrane) upper layer, acting in at least one direction; at least one moisture-impermeable (membrane) lower layer, acting in at least one direction and an absorbing core layer arranged therebetween. Said core layer is embodied in a form which corresponds to the anatomy of a foot or in the form of a straight strip whose length corresponds to standard child, women or men shoe sizes. The insert can be provided with flaps having glue and protecting strippable layer used for fixing said insert inside footwear. The insert can be made of woven and non-woven materials based on natural and/or synthetic fibres. The absorbing component of the insert is embodied in the form of a gel-forming material. Said hygienic insert can be impregnated with a deodorant and/or odour-neutralising and/or curing agent.
