Abstract

Device for controlling heating of a foodstuff with microwave energy comprising a plate-like surface of susceptor material onto which the foodstuff is placed during irradiation with microwave energy, characterized in that the surface of susceptor material comprises protrusions (2) onto which the foodstuff is placed, and that there are protrusions (2) of at least two different heights.
