Abstract

A system and method of assembling a container for microwave heating of a food product. In one embodiment, the method includes providing a mandrel defining a recess in a top portion thereof and a plurality of bores in an exterior surface thereof; providing a sheet of barrier material; draping a first side of the sheet on the mandrel over the top portion and at least a portion of a body portion thereof.
