Description

LEUCHTE MIT VERSCHIEDENFARBIGEN UND WEISSEN LICHTQUELLEN LIGHT WITH DIFFERENT COLORS AND WHITE SOURCES
The invention relates to a luminaire with light sources of different colors, at least separately controllable in groups, arranged on at least one support inside a lampshade and at least one white light source.
It is known to use lights with differently colored light sources for therapeutic purposes. From US 5 749 646 a lamp arrangement is known which, in addition to therapeutic purposes, is also said to be usable for decorative purposes, special effects, stage lighting and the like, and which contains two groups of lamps pointing in opposite directions, which are of different colors. The lamps are combined, for example, within a common glass bulb, similar to a conventional light bulb, or they are arranged within a hood-shaped lampshade which is designed as a reflector for the rear group of lamps, it being possible for a light-permeable wall to be present on the end face of the lampshade, which either covers the entire face or part of the face of the screen. In this way, light effects of different colors are to be achieved on the face of the luminaire, firstly by direct light emission and secondly by reflection. However, the optical effects that are possible as a result are limited, even if the individual lamps are controlled individually, i.e. can be switched on and off here in concrete terms.
The object of the invention is to provide a lamp as stated at the outset, with which a variety of optical effects are made possible, the particular aim being to be able to use the lamp in a conventional manner for illumination purposes on the one hand and on the other hand to provide stimulating optical color effects for a wide variety of purposes, such as for example for decorative purposes in showrooms.
Querschnitt aufweisen. The lamp of the type mentioned at the outset is characterized in that the lampshade has a laterally translucent screen wall, preferably closed in the U direction, the differently colored light sources emit light laterally through this translucent screen wall, whereas the white light source on one in the in the operating position emits light at the lower end of the screen wall. In the luminaire according to the invention there is a translucent screen wall on the side, which is used for the respective color effect. On the other hand, white light is emitted on the face side, so that if the luminaire is aligned appropriately, this white light is emitted downwards towards a work area, whereas the luminaire can be used to create any color combination around the sheath of the screen via the translucent screen wall, due to the translucent material the screen wall can result in a confluence of colors and flat color effects. Depending on the control of the differently colored light sources, colors can also be mixed, for example if light sources are available in the basic colors red, green and blue, and red is mixed with blue etc., so that, if necessary in chronological order, also locally on the lampshade to bring out violet, pink etc. color spots. A screen made of milky plastic glass or frosted glass is particularly suitable for these color effects. The lampshade, more precisely the screen wall, is furthermore preferably open to emit the white light on the lower end face. If necessary, however, the end face can also be closed off by a light-permeable or a light-diffusing wall (a diffuser). A reflector is preferably assigned for the purpose of amplifying the light output of the white light source. This reflector can be pivoted, in particular pivoted on all sides, as is conventional technology per se with other lights, and it is then arranged like the white light source within the screen wall; the reflector can also be, for example, parabolic, conical or hemispherical and, in the case of a fluorescent tube as a white light source, also have the shape of a profile rail with a generally U-shaped, semicircular, elliptical or parabolic, etc. cross-section.
Depending on the application, the screen wall can be cylindrical, cone-shaped, but also prismatic or pyramid (truncated) -shaped, for example with a triangular cross-section, or cuboid, in particular cubic.
It is particularly advantageous for the desired color-light effects if the support arranged in the center of the lampshade is elongated and carries the differently colored light sources on its long sides. Such an elongated girder for the differently colored light sources can then extend axially within the screen wall, for example in a cylindrical or frustoconical configuration etc. The differently colored light sources are preferably formed by light-emitting diodes (LEDs), which can emit, for example, red, green or blue light, and in the case of such LEDs, it is also advantageous if the elongate carrier is provided if the LEDs are arranged in rows along the elongated carrier can be arranged. The LEDs or generally the differently colored light sources can be aligned in groups to different sides, so that, for example, when switching on only the red light sources with the help of the translucent or milky screen wall, a surface appearing all around red is obtained. The same naturally applies to the other colors or to combinations or mixtures of the colors.
A comparable effect can also be achieved if fluorescent tubes with differently colored slide-over tubes are provided as differently colored light sources.
For the all-round color effects, it is advantageous if the differently colored light sources are arranged in several groups oriented towards different sides, each group containing at least one light source of each color.
In the case of the present luminaire, under the separate control of the light sources, not only is it switched on and off, but also dimming if necessary, i.e. a brightness control to understand the individual light sources in order to additionally increase the achievable light effects.
In order to be able to illuminate larger work areas in a conventional manner, it can advantageously also be provided that a plurality of white light sources in the form of, in particular, movably arranged spotlights are provided on the underside.
Furthermore, it may be advantageous, in particular in the case of flat rail-shaped or box-shaped luminaire designs, if the differently colored light sources are attached to a cover wall provided as a support, which is arranged on the upper side of the screen wall.
Im Inneren des Trägers 8 verlaufen wiederum die nicht näher dargestellten elektrischen Leitungen für die Lichtquellen 7.The lamp 1 according to FIGS. 1A and 1B currently regarded as particularly preferred contains a lampshade 2 with a cylindrical screen wall 3 made of frosted glass or milky plastic glass, which in this example is open on the lower end face 4 in the operating position. The lampshade 2 can be connected via struts 5 on its upper side to a suspension 6, in which electrical supply lines for light sources 7 of different colors are also accommodated, which are attached to an elongated support 8. According to Fig. IB this elongated support 8, which is in the axis of the lampshade 2, i.e. is arranged in the middle, with a triangular cross-section, but any other cross-section, such as the round cross-section according to FIG. 3B, or an oval cross-section, etc., is also conceivable, as is a rectangular cross-section that forms a flat strip shaped carrier 8 leads. The electrical lines (not shown in detail) for the light sources 7 in turn run inside the carrier 8.
These light sources 7 are, as in Fig.la in connection with Fig. 1B can be seen (see also Fig. 7), arranged in several (here three) longitudinal rows on the elongated support 8, and they can be in a cyclic sequence of differently colored light sources 7R (R - red), 7G (G - green) and 7B (B - blue). In this case, for example, all red light sources 7R, all green light sources 7G and all blue light sources 7B can each be combined to form a group and be controlled together, ie switched on and off or dimmed together. However, it is also conceivable to provide a plurality of sections of a plurality of light sources in each case over the height of the support 8 and thus to enable effects of different colors one above the other. The respective .color change and the brightness control can be effected electronically automatically with a predetermined sequence, at a predetermined speed, for which a conventional electronic control circuit, for example with a microprocessor, explained in more detail below with reference to FIG. 7, can be used.
The light sources 7 are preferably formed by differently colored light-emitting diodes (LEDs), so that a multiplicity of such light sources 7 can be accommodated on the carrier 8 within the screen wall 3 in order to increase the color effects which can be achieved.
On the lower end face 4 in the operating position, a white light source 9 is arranged within a reflector 10 within the screen wall 3 in order to emit white light downwards. As a result, a work area located below the lamp 1 can be illuminated in a conventional manner, nonetheless on all sides due to the generally tubular screen wall 3 which is closed in the circumferential direction due to the milky (ie only translucent) material used for it and the arrangement of the differently colored light sources 7 inside the Screen wall 3, the color light effects desired for decorative purposes etc. can be achieved.
The lamp 1 can be designed as a wall lamp, ceiling lamp, but also as a table lamp or floor lamp. Depending on the situation, the suspension 6 is to be designed accordingly or to be connected to a further support structure (not shown), such as, for example, current rails which are common today, in particular low-voltage rails. FIGS. 2A and 2B show a luminaire 1 modified with respect to FIG. 1 with a lampshade 2 with a truncated cone-shaped screen wall 3. This screen wall 3 is in turn open on its lower end face 4, and on its upper side it is connected, for example, via obliquely extending struts 5 to a support arm 16 which extends horizontally and carries the actual lamp pivotably about a pivot axis 16A. Fluorescent tubes 17 are shown here by way of example as light sources 7, which have the differently colored, pushed-on push-on tubes, so that these tubular, different-colored light sources 7 each emit only a certain light color due to the filter effect through the pushover tubes. These tubular light sources 7 can be provided in a triangular arrangement, as can be seen from FIG. 2B, but it is also possible, for example, to have two such tubular light sources 7 in a circular shape (seen in plan view or in cross section similar to FIG. 2B). Within these tubular light sources 7 there can then be the electrical supply arrangement, which is not described in any more detail, which extends to the upper support arm 16 and runs through it, and via which not only the tubular light sources 7, but also a white light source 9 provided, for example, within a parabolic one to supply tapered or hemispherical reflector 10 in a controlled manner. The carrier 8 can here consist of an elongated tube with upper and lower disks 8A, 8B. This tubular support 8 in turn receives the individual leads for the electrical power supply in its interior, and it can also carry the socket (not shown in more detail) for the lamp provided as white light source 9.
Similarly, the carrier 8 of the lamp 1 according to FIGS. 1A and 1B is also equipped at its lower end with a lamp holder for the white light source 9.
Eine weitere Beschreibung dieser Ausführungsform kann sich daher erübrigen, und zwar auch hinsichtlich der ebenfalls wieder unterseitig vorgesehenen weißen Lichtquellen (mit oder ohne Reflektor) .FIGS. 3A and 3B illustrate, as a further exemplary embodiment for the lampshade, a cubic screen wall 2 which is closed in the circumferential direction and thus likewise in the general sense, and which is moreover closed on the lower end face 4 except for a central circular opening 4A. In the interior of the screen wall 2 there is again a tube, for example a tube, corresponding to the vertical longitudinal axis. Shaped support 8 is provided, on the outside of which differently colored light sources 7 are attached in longitudinal rows, essentially as already described above with reference to FIGS. 1A and 1B. A further description of this embodiment can therefore be dispensed with, also with regard to the white light sources which are also provided on the underside (with or without a reflector).
Finally, in FIG. 4, in order to clarify that the screen wall 2 in the luminaire 1 according to the invention can have a wide variety of cross-sectional shapes, a screen wall 2 with a triangular cross-section is shown, with a carrier 8, for example in the form of a tube with a triangular shape, in the interior thereof. shaped cross section, with attached longitudinal rows of differently colored light sources 7 is arranged.
The present luminaire 1 can be used, for example, in business premises or showrooms in order to provide lighting with white light beneath it in a conventional manner, whereas an eye-catcher is created for passers-by due to the laterally recognizable color changes or different-colored effects. In particular, it is also possible to mount the lights on suspensions 6 in the form of pends on conventional busbars, in which case they are supplied with electrical energy via these busbars, and the control circuit components can also be attached to these busbars. Such a control circuit component 20 is illustrated schematically in FIG. 2A on the support arm 16.
In addition to milk glass or milk plastic glass, the screen walls 3 can also consist of a translucent, for example waxed textile material, with which a flat color distribution and flowing colors can also be achieved with appropriate control of the differently colored light sources.
Of course, instead of the triangular cross-section of the support 8 according to FIG. 1B, a tubular support as shown in FIG. 3B can be used for the lamp according to FIGS. 1A and 1B and vice versa. Furthermore, an elongated support 8 (triangular, oval, quadrangular, circular, etc. in cross section) with LEDs as light sources 7 can be provided for the luminaire 1 according to FIGS. 2A and 2B, and conversely, fluorescent tubes with differently colored push-over tubes can also be provided for the luminaire 1 according to Fig.la and IB or according to Fig.3A and 3B or according to Fig.4 are used. In view of the particularly diverse color light effects that can be achieved thereby, LEDs are particularly preferred as light sources 7.
These white light sources 9, together with associated reflectors, can be pivoted, in particular pivoted, on the inside of the lampshade 2 of the lamp 1, with, for example, a conventional ball joint 11 (see FIG. 5B) or a type of universal joint for the pivotable mounting of the radiators 9, 10 can be provided within the screen wall 3. According to FIG. 5B, there are again a plurality of differently colored light sources 7, again for example in groups in the colors red, green and blue; these differently colored light sources 7 can again be arranged in a row form, here for example along an upper cover wall 12, on the upper side of the screen wall 3, as a carrier 8. Instead of the LEDs in rows as light sources 7, it is of course also conceivable to arrange fluorescent tubes with differently colored slide-over tubes as light sources, as shown in FIG. 2, as is also indicated in FIG. 5B (for the sake of simplicity in one and the same figure) at 17 ,
An der Unterseite kann die Schirmwand 3 der Leuchte 1 gemäß Fig.6 an sich herkömmlicherweise durch ein Gitter 13 oder dergl . abgeschlossen sein, welches das weiße Licht der Lichtquelle 9 auch zerstreuen kann, um die Blendwirkung zu reduzieren.6 also shows a rail-shaped luminaire 1 with a fluorescent tube as a white light source 9 and with differently colored light sources 7 also arranged on an upper cover wall 12, for example again in the form of LEDs arranged in rows (or else in the form of fluorescent tubes). On the underside, the screen wall 3 of the lamp 1 according to FIG. be completed, which can also scatter the white light from the light source 9 in order to reduce the glare.
Finally, in FIG. 7, an example of a control circuit 20 for the control of differently colored light sources 7, for example red light sources 7R, green light sources 7G and blue light sources 7B, is respectively arranged very schematically in groups along a carrier (not shown in more detail), in the form of a block diagram, illustrated. Here is an actual one Control unit 21 is provided, which is preferably implemented with a microprocessor 22 including the associated memory 23 and to which an input unit 24 is at least temporarily assigned for the purpose of programming an automatic color change sequence. The control unit 21 then controls the individual light sources 7R, 7G, 7B as well as the white light source 9 via separately illustrated switching and dimmer units 25. For this purpose, the control unit 21 is provided with a corresponding number of parallel control outputs 26. It is possible, for example, to control only all the red light sources 7R, then all the green light sources 7G and then all the blue light sources 7B at a certain time and, moreover, if necessary, dim in brightness, but it is also possible on different sides of the middle one Carrier within the respective luminaires, for example the carrier 8 in FIG. 1B of the luminaire 1, to simultaneously control individual light sources 7 with different colors, so that red, green and blue, flowing into one another stripe regions result along the screen wall 3 of the lampshade. Different colored light sources 7 can also be controlled at the same time in some areas in order to bring about mixed light in the desired partial areas. These processes can be preprogrammed, on the other hand, manual activation (switching on, switching off) is at least preferably additionally provided for the white light source 9, as is indicated schematically in FIG. 7 with the connection 27 and a separate manual control device 28 (dimmer switch) ,
