Abstract

The present invention is directed to a tamper-resistant threaded fastener which may be readily installed into a workpiece but once installed cannot readily removed. The threaded fastener includes a shank portion having a threaded region formed at one end, a retaining element formed at another end and a dwell region interposed between the threaded region and the retaining element.
