Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à un dispositif pour le dosage de produits destinés à être appliqués sur la peau, notamment des compositions pharmaceutiques ou cosmétiques. L'invention se rapporte plus particulièrement à un dispositif se présentant sous la forme d'une réglette (1) dont les graduations permettent aux utilisateurs de déterminer précisément la quantité de médicament à appliquer sur la peau en fonction de la surface à traiter.

Description

Dispositif de dosage d'un produit destiné à être appliqué sur la peau.
La présente invention concerne le domaine du dosage de produit pour application topique tel qu'un médicament. L'invention vise à fournir un nouveau dispositif pour le dosage de produits destinés à être appliqués sur la peau, notamment de compositions pharmaceutiques ou cosmétiques. L'invention se rapporte plus particulièrement à un •dispositif se présentant sous la forme d'une réglette dont les graduations permettent aux utilisateurs de déterminer précisément la quantité de médicament à appliquer sur la peau en fonction de la surface à traiter.
En matière de médicaments destinés à être appliqués sur la peau, on sait que l'efficacité des topiques est, entre autre, fonction de leur dosage. Or, qu'il soit formulé sous la forme de crème, de pommade, de mousse, de liquide, ou de formes adhésives de type patches, le médicament destiné à une application topique n'est pas conditionné dans un dispositif permettant d'assurer un dosage optimum.
Ainsi, lorsque le médicament destiné à une application topique est conditionné sous la forme d'un tube ou d'un simple flacon, la dose exacte à délivrer dudit médicament ne peut pas être calibrée par l'utilisateur. Il existe cependant de nombreux distributeurs doseurs. Certains sont pourvus d'un dispositif de type siphon qui nécessitent des manipulations de type pompage de l'utilisateur ; ils sont souvent composés d'un nombre élevé de pièces ce qui rend leur fabrication onéreuse. D'autres distributeurs doseurs sont équipés d'un dispositif de type piston, mais la quantité de produit délivré étant fonction de la pression exercée par le manipulateur, ils sont peu fiables. De plus, ces distributeurs doseurs sont équipés de système ne permettant la délivrance que d'une dose unique de produit.
De façon à palier les inconvénients ci-dessus, la Demanderesse a maintenant mis au point un dispositif optimum pour le dosage d'un médicament destiné à être appliqué sur la peau, où la quantité de médicament appliqué est précise et modulable en fonction de la surface de la peau à traiter, ce qui permet une meilleure efficacité du traitement.
Ce but est atteint grâce à un dispositif de dosage d'un produit destiné à être appliqué sur la peau, notamment d'une composition pharmaceutique ou cosmétique, qui est constitué d'une réglette comprenant un sillon longitudinal au niveau duquel est définie une série de compartiments, ledit sillon étant apte à recevoir une quantité du médicament correspondant à une surface déterminée de la peau à traiter, cette quantité étant définie par un ou plusieurs des compartiments.
Avantageusement, la réglette est pourvue d'une graduation définissant à partir d'une extrémité du sillon correspondant au début du premier compartiment, et pour les compartiments suivants, la quantité de médicament dans les compartiments du sillon.
Suivant un mode de mise en œuvre particulier, le dispositif de la présente invention comprend au moins deux, de préférence au moins trois et tout préférentiellement quatre compartiments.
Lesdits compartiments peuvent avoir la même dimension ou être de dimension différente et dans ce dernier cas, on préfère des compartiments de dimension croissante. On entend par dimension, de préférence la longueur du compartiment, mais une variante de l'invention consiste à faire varier la profondeur ou la largeur du sillon de façon continue ou d'un compartiment à l'autre.
De préférence, la graduation de la réglette est choisie parmi : une échelle graduée, des protubérances, des encoches, un jeu de couleurs ou une combinaison de ceux-ci. La graduation de la réglette peut être disposée à l'intérieur et/ou à l'extérieur du sillon.
Selon un mode tout particulier de mise en oeuvre, le dispositif comprend, de préférence à l'une au moins des extrémités de la réglette, une surface aménagée pour sa manipulation. Il peut s'agir par exemple d'une portion évasée à l'une des extrémités de la réglette.
Selon des modes de réalisation préférés de l'invention :
- le premier compartiment est apte à contenir une quantité du médicament correspondant à environ une surface de 0,8 à 1 ,2 % de la surface totale du corps, de préférence environ 1 % de la surface totale du corps ;
- le premier et le deuxième compartiments sont aptes à contenir une quantité du médicament correspondant à environ une surface de 2,4 à 3,6 % de la surface totale du corps, de préférence environ 3 % de la surface totale du corps ; - le premier, le deuxième et le troisième compartiments sont aptes à contenir une quantité du médicament correspondant à environ une surface de 4,8 à 7,1 % de la surface totale du corps, de préférence environ 6 % de la surface totale du corps ;
- le premier, le deuxième, le troisième et le quatrième compartiments, sont aptes à contenir une quantité du médicament correspondant à environ une surface de 7,2 à
10,8 % de la surface totale du corps, de préférence 9 % de la surface totale du corps.
Le dispositif selon l'invention est remarquable en ce qu'il peut être réutilisé par le patient, qu'il est adapté à toute forme de présentation de médicaments à application topique, par exemple liquide, semi-liquides, gels, pommades, crèmes, pulvérulents.
Le dispositif selon l'invention peut être réalisé en tout matériau étanche répondant aux exigences sanitaires, comme du verre, du métal, du plastique souple ou rigide.
Une application spécifique du dispositif selon l'invention se rapporte au dosage d'un médicament destiné à traiter le psoriasis, ledit médicament étant de préférence le Silkis. Pour cette application :
- le premier compartiment est apte à contenir une quantité de Silkis d'environ 0,36 à 0,54 gramme (g), de préférence 0,45 gramme.
- le premier et le deuxième compartiments sont aptes à contenir une quantité de Silkis d'environ 1 ,08 à 1 ,62 grammes, de préférence 1 ,30 grammes.
- le premier, le deuxième et le troisième compartiments, sont aptes à contenir une quantité de Silkis d'environ 2,16 à 3,20 grammes, de préférence 2,60 grammes.
- le premier, le deuxième, le troisième et le quatrième compartiments sont aptes à contenir une quantité de Silkis d'environ 3,24 à 4,86 grammes, de préférence 3,90 grammes.
D'autres avantages et caractéristiques de l'invention apparaîtront à la lecture de l'exemple ci-après concernant un dispositif de dosage du Silkis pour le traitement du psoriasis, donné à titre illustratif et ne devant pas être interprété comme limitant la portée de l'invention, et dans lequel il sera fait référence aux figures en annexe dans lesquelles :
- La figure 1 représente une vue de dessus inclinée du dispositif de dosage.
- La figure 2 représente une vue de dessus du dispositif de dosage.
- La figure 3 représente une vue de profil du dispositif de dosage. - La figure 4 représente une coupe verticale du dispositif de dosage. Les figures 1 , 2 et 3 représentent un dispositif de dosage selon l'invention, constitué d'une réglette (1) de forme oblongue, pourvue d'une graduation formée de protubérances (4). La réglette comprend un sillon longitudinal (2) muni d'une série de compartiments (3) et possède à une extrémité une portion circulaire évasée (5) qui facilite la préhension de ladite réglette.
Dans le présent exemple, la réglette (1) est de forme oblongue de 158 mm de long, 32 mm de large au niveau de l'extrémité pourvue de la portion circulaire (5) et 17 mm de large au niveau de l'autre extrémité. Le sillon (2) de 7 mm de largeur et de 2 mm de profondeur s'étend selon un axe longitudinal sur 126 mm. Ce sillon est divisé en quatre compartiments (3a, 3b, 3c et 3d) par des protubérances (4). Le premier compartiment (3a) définit un volume de 7 mm de largueur, sur 2 mm de profondeur et 14 mm de longueur. Le deuxième compartiment (3b) définit un volume de 7 mm de largueur, sur 2 mm de profondeur et 28 mm de longueur. Le troisième (3c) et le quatrième (3d) compartiments définissent chacun un volume de 7 mm de largueur, sur 2 mm de profondeur et 42 mm de longueur.
Les figures 3 et 4 représentent un dispositif de dosage selon l'invention, pourvu d'un renflement longitudinal (6) sur la face inférieure de la réglette (1) qui constitue le fond du sillon (2) ou un moyen permettant l'inclinaison du dispositif à plat.
Exemple 1
1 ) Définition des surfaces corporelles à traiter
Pour définir les surfaces corporelles à traiter dans le cadre du traitement du psoriasis, la Demanderesse utilise une proposition dérivée de la règle des 9 % de Wallace. La Demanderesse a ainsi déterminé les pourcentages de surfaces corporelles suivants (exprimés par rapport à la surface totale du corps) :
- pli inguinal : entre abdomen et cuisse = 1%
- pli fessier = 1 % (3 % du dos) - zone lombaire = 3%
- visage = 9 % : 1 % par oreille, 1 % par sourcil, 1 % menton, 1 % par pli nasal, 2 % front.
2) Détermination de la dose de Silkis Sachant que la dose maximale de Silkis utilisable par jour est de 30 grammes, en deux applications, et que la surface corporelle maximale traitable est de 35 % de la surface totale du corps, la Demanderesse a établi la dose optimale de Silkis : 30/2/35 % soit 0,43 gramme par pourcentage de surface corporelle à traiter par application. Le tableau 1 résume la corrélation existant entre le pourcentage de surface corporelle à traiter et la dose de Silkis.

Claims

REVENDICATIONS
1. Dispositif de dosage d'un produit destiné à être appliqué sur la peau, notamment d'une composition pharmaceutique ou cosmétique, caractérisé en ce qu'il est constitué d'une réglette (1) comprenant un sillon longitudinal (2) au niveau duquel est définie une série de compartiments (3), ledit sillon (2) étant apte à recevoir une quantité du médicament correspondant à une surface déterminée de la peau à traiter, cette quantité étant définie par un ou plusieurs des compartiments (3).
2. Dispositif selon la revendication 1 , caractérisé en ce que la réglette (1) est pourvue d'une graduation (4) définissant à partir d'une extrémité du sillon correspondant au début du premier compartiment (3a), et pour les compartiments suivants, la quantité de médicament dans les compartiments du sillon (2).
3. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend au moins deux (3a, 3b), de préférence au moins trois (3a, 3b, 3c) et tout préférentiellement quatre compartiments (3a, 3b, 3c, 3d).
4. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications 2 ou 3, caractérisé en ce que la graduation (4) de la réglette est choisie parmi : une échelle graduée, des protubérances, des encoches, un jeu de couleurs ou une combinaison de ceux-ci.
5. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le premier compartiment (3a) est apte à contenir une quantité du médicament correspondant à environ une surface de 0,8 à 1 ,2 % de la surface totale du corps, de préférence environ 1 % de la surface totale du corps.
6. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le premier (3a) et le deuxième (3b) compartiments sont aptes à contenir une quantité du médicament correspondant à environ une surface de 2,4 à 3,6 % de la surface totale du corps, de préférence environ 3 % de la surface totale du corps.
7. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le premier (3a), le deuxième (3b) et le troisième (3c) compartiments sont aptes à contenir une quantité du médicament correspondant à environ une surface de 4,8 à 7,1 % de la surface totale du corps, de préférence environ 6 % de la surface totale du corps.
8. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le premier (3a), le deuxième (3b), le troisième (3c) et le quatrième (3d) compartiments sont aptes à contenir une quantité du médicament correspondant à environ une surface de 7,2 à 10,8 % de la surface totale du corps, de préférence 9 % de la surface totale du corps.
9. Dispositif de dosage d'un médicament destiné à être appliqué sur la peau selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que ledit médicament est destiné à traiter le psoriasis, ledit médicament étant de préférence le Silkis.
10. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le premier compartiment (3a) est apte à contenir une quantité d'environ 0,36 g à 0,54 g de Silkis, de préférence 0,45 g de Silkis.
11. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le premier (3a) et le deuxième (3b) compartiments sont aptes à contenir une quantité d'environ 1 ,08 g à 1 ,62 g de Silkis, de préférence 1 ,30 g de Silkis.
12. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le premier (3a), le deuxième (3b) et le troisième (3c) compartiments sont aptes à contenir une quantité d'environ 2,16 g à 3,20 g de Silkis, de préférence 2,60 g de Silkis.
13. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le premier (3a), le deuxième (3b), le troisième (3c) et le quatrième (3d) compartiments sont aptes à contenir une quantité d'environ 3,24 g à 4,86 g de Silkis, de préférence 3,90 g de Silkis.
