Abstract

The invention relates to an open-pore filtration membrane and to a method for producing the same on the basis of a polymer or a polymer mixture. According to the method, a cast solution, comprising a polyether or an aliphatic, water-soluble compound having at least two ether groups or a mixture of said substances and the polymer or the polymer mixture dissolved therein, and optionally an aprotic polar solvent and/or expanding agent and/or swelling agent, is formed and said solution is precipitated by a precipitation process, especially by immersion into a precipitation bath, by phase inversion. The aim of the invention is to improve the aforementioned method. For this purpose, the cast solution comprises at least 83 %, based on its total weight, of the polymer or the polymer mixture and the polyether or the aliphatic, water-soluble compound having at least two ether groups or the mixture of said substances.
