Abstract

Apparatus (10) and method of improving a golf swing includes placing stands (20) that are susceptible to falling adjacent to a golfer’s right and left legs, measuring the proportions of a golfer’s weight transmitted through the golfer’s right and left legs, having the golfer’s swing a golf club, evaluating the golfer’s measured weight shift during the golf swing, and determining errors in the golfer’s swing indicated by a falling stand and/or an inappropriate weight shift.
