Description

DISPOSITIVO RECARGADOR UNIVERSAL PARA TELÉFONOS MÓVILES Y APARATOS SIMILARES UNIVERSAL RECHARGEATOR DEVICE FOR MOBILE PHONES AND SIMILAR APPLIANCES
OBJETO DE LA INVENCIÓNOBJECT OF THE INVENTION
La presente invención se refiere a un dispositivo recargador universal para teléfonos móviles y aparatos similares, aparatos que en general incorporen baterías recargables .The present invention relates to a universal recharging device for mobile phones and similar devices, devices that generally incorporate rechargeable batteries.
ANTECEDENTES DE LA INVENCIÓNBACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
DESCRIPCIÓN DE LA INVENCIÓNCurrently, there are many different devices that work with rechargeable batteries, among which mobile phones stand out. Especially in the case of mobile phones it is very common to forget the charger, which can be a problem, for example, when traveling. Indeed, and taking into account that each brand of phone has its charger, and even different for different models, it may become impossible to find a valid charger, leaving the user incommunicado. On the other hand, it would be a great advantage for hotel establishments and the like to offer a service consisting of enabling these phones or devices to be recharged, a service that they do not offer because it would require having as many chargers as existing brands and / or models available to their customers, which it's almost impossible. These drawbacks are remedied by using the device of the invention. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The device of the invention serves in an optimal way to recharge the batteries of different devices, especially mobile phones. According to the invention, the device comprises a series of elements housed within a housing, with the corresponding connectors for a mains power cable and for another external cable with the corresponding pins or connectors to connect in turn to the device whose battery is desired recharge. Inside the housing there is a power supply consisting of a transformer that provides galvanic isolation and supplies voltage on its secondary capable of recharging, that is, a voltage slightly higher than the nominal recharge batteries. At the output of the secondary of the transformer there is a rectifier to rectify the alternating current to DC, as well as a filter to eliminate curling. This is the usual constitution of a specific charger for a given device, whose voltage and current values are determined by the design. The invention proposes that this constitution can be used to provide automatically adaptable voltage and current values to recharge various devices, always within the limit imposed by the nature of the batteries, for example in the case of lithium-ion batteries, whose cells are 3.6 V. The improvement consists in having a polarized current regulator at the output of the described power supply at a reference voltage, which limits the current that the device is capable of supplying at a maximum value. This is useful for some mobile phones that incorporate an internal safety circuit, which verifies the initial voltage and maximum current that can be provided from the recharging device, and does not allow recharging if said current can exceed a certain value. In this way, the charger will never provide a current that exceeds this value and recharge will be allowed. At the output of the current regulator, a voltage regulator is set at a certain output voltage, which is what is required in the recharge. When recharging, depending on the device model recharging as well as the level of charge of your battery, it will demand a greater or lesser amount of current. In case the required current is higher than the maximum supplied by the intensity regulator, it will be limited to this maximum value.
OF THE DRAWINGS Figure 1 shows a schematic view of the device of the invention.
DESCRIPTION OF A PRACTICAL EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION The device 1 of the invention is constituted by a power supply 2, comprising a connector 3 for an external cable, not shown, of mains connection, a protection fuse element 4, a transformer 5 that adapts the incoming mains voltage to suitable values for recharging the batteries, which in the case mobile phones range between 4 and 6 volts, a rectifier 6, and a filter 7, providing a continuous and stabilized output voltage, and providing the galvanic isolation transformer. The transformer will preferably be oversized so as to withstand short-circuit currents in the load without problems. The output of the power supply is connected to a current regulator 8 which has the purpose of limiting the recharge current that the device can supply to a maximum value, since there are devices on the market that verify the initial voltage and maximum load current that can be supplied from the recharging device, and that do not allow recharging if they detect that a certain maximum current value can be exceeded. The current regulator 8, in this non-limiting example of the invention, is based on a PNP transistor, not shown, suitably polarized. The device also comprises a voltage regulator 9, preferably consisting of an integrated fixed voltage linear regulator, ideally of low loss in order to increase the performance of the charger and lower the temperature inside the housing 10 containing the various elements that make up the device. This type of integrated allows to adjust the output voltage to a constant value by means of a reference pin. Finally, an LED 12 is implemented in the voltage regulator, witness to the connection of the device to the network. For its part, the connection of the device to the device whose batteries are intended to be recharged will be made by a cable, not shown, attachable to an output connector 13 of the device. This cable may be particular for each model of the device to be recharged, in order to integrate the particular connection pins of the device or, preferably, it may consist of a single cable, not shown, with an end multiple connector. Sufficiently described the nature of the invention, as well as the manner in which it is carried out in practice, it should be noted that the provisions indicated above and represented in the attached drawings are subject to modifications in detail as long as they do not alter the fundamental principle.
