Description

DESCRIPTION Protection glove for patients. Object of the invention The object of the present invention is a protective mitten for patients that prevents probes, cannulas and the like from being removed, which they have placed on the body for different applications, also to avoid in many cases that the patient becomes damage with bed rails. Field of the invention In the hospital world, and especially in certain sectors of the same, it turns out that in many cases patients who are intubated or provided with cannulas and the like, to receive various dosages for different purposes, have a lot of discomfort, coupled in many with disorientation temporary or permanent and agitation episodes, in many cases they have a tendency to detach from the aforementioned devices, which if they do, create many problems for the patient and for the nursing staff who have to put them back on the patient. Background of the invention In order to avoid as far as possible what has been exposed, the patients' hands had been inserted into mitts or the like with essentially soft sheets, to try to prevent the free movement of the fingers, so that the elements could not be removed. placed on the body. In addition, restless patients must be "tied" to the bed, especially at times when the nursing staff has to act with them, so that they can perform their duties, since otherwise it is impossible, or to prevent them from The patient hits the bed rails. The means used up to now as bags or similar, are not suitable for the aforementioned purpose, since they adapt with ease to the patient's hand and due to the low resistance of the materials used, the patient bites them and manages to break them, freeing the hand from the mitten and in many cases swallowing pieces of the mitten, likewise destroying sheets, cushions, diapers, collectors. All this constitutes a series of inconveniences for the patient himself because he has to reapply what the patient has removed, in addition to causing damage, bleeding, etc., for the health personnel who have to reapply them, also for the hospital center that treats it, since these incidents cause a financial expense of great proportions for the center. Summary of the invention The aforementioned drawbacks have been totally eliminated by means of the protection mitt for patients object of the present invention due to the characteristics of this mitten, which allows the movement of the fingers inside without this movement being transmitted to the outside of the mitten, it has a resistant constitution and structure, which does not break even if the patient bites it, and with closure measures at the wrist level that prevent the patient from removing it. In accordance with the above, the mitten for patients object of the present invention is essentially characterized in that it comprises two independent mittens, one exterior and one interior that are joined together only at the edges of the mouthpiece in the area of the wrist that directly receives The user's hand and wrist, whose inner mitten is movable with respect to the outer one, is smaller than the outer mitten with the bottom separated from the bottom of the outer one. The outer mitten comprises two facing mitts in correspondence with the two faces of the hand and which are joined together by their respective edges along the entire contour except in the mouthpiece, and each of the facing mitts incorporates a essentially semi-rigid flattened part of configuration in correspondence with that of the entire hand and is held in position by the joining seam of the pair of facing mittens that form the outer mitten and taper towards the wrist. These previously described characteristics mean that the patient with this mitten can move the hand inside the inner mitten and that this movement is not transmitted to the outside. The outer mitten is provided with two fastening means that close the mitten on the user's wrist. Another alternative that this mitten allows us would be to use one of the fastening means to close the mitten to the patient's wrist and the other to perform a external fixation in the bed. The fastening means of the mitten on the patient's wrist consist of respective adhesive strips, sailboat type. The mouthpiece includes the entry mouth of the hand and a longitudinal lateral opening for ventilation. The outer mitt is made of high-resistance textile and/or plastic material. The inner mitten is made of textile material that absorbs sweat and is soft to the touch. The semi-rigid material of the flattened parts of the facing mitts that constitute the outer mitt consist of plastic material with a pleasant touch. These and other characteristics will become clearer from the detailed description that follows, to facilitate which is accompanied by a sheet of drawings in which a practical case of realization has been represented, which is cited only as an example and does not limit the scope of the present invention. Description of the drawings In said drawings: Figure 1 is a plan view with slight perspective of the mitten for patients object of the invention. Figure 2 is a plan view and partially fragmented of the mitten of the invention, placed in an inverted position compared to Figure 1. Figure 3 is a longitudinal section view of the mitten considered by plane Ill-lll of Figure 4 Figure 4 is a plan view of the mitten of the invention that illustrates the user's hand and wrist inserted into it in the position illustrated in figure 1, and that presents the closure and fastening means fragmented. Figure 5 is a plan view similar to figure 1 illustrating the inner mitten fully extracted from the mitten of the invention. Figure 6 is a fragmentary sectional view considered by the Vl-Vl plane of Figure 4. Detailed description of a preferred embodiment of the invention In accordance with the drawings, the mitten for patients object of the present invention, with the general reference (1) comprises two independent mitts, an outer one (2) and an inner one (3) that are joined together, only at the edges of the mouthpiece (E) in the area of the wrist that directly receives the hand (MA ) and wrist (MU) of the user, whose inner mitt (3) is smaller (see figures 3, 4 and 5) than the outer mitt (2), with the bottom (f) of the inner mitt (3) separated from the bottom (F) of the outer mitt (2), according to a distance or separation (d) (see figures 2, 3 and 4). Said arrangement and structure allows the patient to stretch and shrink the hand (MA) by moving the inner mitten (3) inside the outer mitten (2). The mitt (1) of the invention has a structure in which the outer mitt (2) comprises two facing mitts (2a) and (2b) (see especially figures 3 and 6), in correspondence with the two faces of the hand (MA) of the user, and which are joined together by the respective edges by means of the corresponding seam (CO) along the entire contour except in the mouth (E). Also, each of the Facing mittens (2a), (2b) incorporates an essentially semi-rigid flattened piece (6), (6) in its interior with a configuration in correspondence with that of the whole hand (MA) and is kept in position by the aforementioned joining seam ( CO) of the pair of facing mittens (2a), (2b) that form the outer mitten (2) of the mitten (1) of the invention and that taper towards the wrist. These flattened pieces (6), (6) prevent the outer mitten (2) from bending with the movement that the patient makes with the hand inside the inner mitten (3). Likewise, the mitt (1) is provided in the area of the user's wrist (MU) with two Velcro-type adhesive strips (4), (5) to hold both the mitt to the patient's wrist, or one of them (4) to close the mitten to the patient's wrist and the other (5) to the bed or other fixed point, occasionally, so that the health personnel can work with the patient or to prevent blows from the hands against the railings. As can be seen in the drawings, the mouthpiece (E) includes the mouth (E1) for entering the hand and a longitudinal lateral opening (E2) for ventilation. The mitt (1) of the invention can be made of any resistant material, but preferably the outer mitt (2) is made of textile material, and where appropriate, of plastic material, being in any case highly resistant, that even if the user bites it, he cannot break it. For its part, the inner mitten (3) is preferably made of textile material that is sweat-absorbent and has a soft touch. Finally, the semi-rigid material of the facing mitts on each side (2a), (2b) of the outer mitt (2) consist of respective plates of plastic material, preferably polyethylene with a pleasant touch. Preferably, the textile material of the outer and inner mittens is made of cotton and polyester. Of course, the mitten of the invention is presented in different sizes so that it fulfills its function, in correspondence with the size of the user's hand. The invention, within its essential nature, can be put into practice in other forms of embodiment that differ only in detail from the one indicated solely by way of example, to which the protection sought will also apply. Thus, this mitten for patients can be made with the most suitable means, components and accessories, and the component elements can be replaced by other technically equivalent ones, as all of this is included within the claims.
