Abstract

An adaptive digital subtraction system (10) for verifying intensity modulated radiation therapy. The system (10) uses a subtraction technique similar to digital subtraction angiography (DSA), but adapted to work with images obtained from a commercially available amorphous silicon (a-Si) electronic portal-imaging device (EPID) (18).
