Abstract

Disclosed herein is a device for shooting a clip, and more particularly, to a device in which the whole body is formed in the shape of a gun, and in which a loaded clip is dispensed by pulling a trigger with the fingers of a hand, thereby being capable of binding paper sheets temporarily and receiving clips in a gun-shaped grip thereof. A conventional device for binding paper sheets or the like by use of a clip generally has a pushing knob which is elastically supported by means of a spring, and a clip guideway for guiding clips. The pushing knob is pushed forwardly and rearwardly along with the clip guideway. When the pushing knob is pushed forwardly, a clip is driven forwardly, thereby conducting clipping operation.

Description

A DEVICE FOR SHOOTING A CLIP
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a device for shooting a clip, and more particularly, to such a device in which its whole appearance is formed in the shape of a gun, and in which a loaded clip is dispensed by pulling a trigger with the fingers of a hand, thereby being capable of binding paper sheets temporarily and receiving clips in a gun-shaped grip thereof.
Background Art
Generally, as shown in FIG. 7, a device for temporarily binding paper sheets or the like by use of a clip is constructed of a body for loading and stacking a clip therein and a cover engaged to the body. The loaded clip in the body is pressurized in the rear thereof by means of a pressurizing plate connected to a pushing knob mounted on the cover through a spring. So, when the cover is closed, the pressurizing plate pressurizes a clip in the rear so that the clip is advanced forwardly one by one by pushing the pushing knob. Then, the advanced clip is opened at the abutting end portions thereof by means of a clip widening member which is mounted to a clip outlet of the body, thereby clipping the sheets of paper or the like due to an elastic force of the clip.
Disclosure of the Invention
Technical Problem However, there are several disadvantages in that the device cannot arise the interest of a user because of having a simple stationery function only, which fails to promote sale increase, and it needs a separate case for accommodating clips therein, thereby increasing the manufacturing cost. In addition, there is an additional shortcoming in which the device should be maintained in a state parallel to the surface of the paper sheets to be bound in use, which leads to make it inconvenient to use.
Technical Solution
Accordingly, the present invention has been made in order to solve the above problems occurring in the prior art, and there is provided a device for shooting a clip, which includes a gun-shaped grip having an interior space and a lid detachably mounted thereon.
Advantageous Effects
According to the present invention, a clip is shot by actuation of a trigger so that the shot clip is dispersed to a desired position to be applied, which leads to arise the interest of a user. This actuation of the trigger allows a clip pushing member to be moved upwardly and downwardly by means of double-stage guide means and a double-stage guide rail, thereby performing an accurate operation. In addition, a grip has an interior space defined therein, thereby serving as a case for accommodating clips, as well as serving as a clip shooting device.

FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view showing the clip shooting device according to the present invention in a state where clips are loaded thereto,
FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view showing the clip shooting device according to the present invention in a state where a clip is shot and dispensed; FIG. 6 is a perspective view of a clip pushing member according to the present invention; and
FIG. 7 is a cross-sectional view of a clip driver according to the conventional prior art.
Best Mode for the Invention
Now, an explanation on a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be in detail given with reference to attached drawings.
As shown in FIG. 1 through FIG. 3, a clip shooting device according to the present invention comprises: a body divided into a first half body 10 and a second half body 10a; a trigger 20 having a rotating means 21 which is fit into a hole defined in a engagement member 11 protrudinly formed integrally with the first half body, so that the first half body 10 and the second half body 10a are engageably assembled with each other to prevent separation therebetween; a clip pushing member 40 having a retaining groove 42 formed therein for cooperating with a retaining tongue 22 which is protruded outwardly from the upper end of the trigger 20 by a predetermined length, and elastically supported by means of a spring 30 fixed at one end to the first half body 10 so as to enable an automatic rearward-movement after a forward-movement thereof by means of a toggling operation of the trigger 20; a pressurizing plate 50 for forwardly pushing a clip loaded one by one, while the clip pushing member ■ 40 is forwardly and rearwardly driven; a pressurizing spring 60 connected at one end to the pressuring plate 50 for continuously maintaining a state where the loaded clip is forwardly pushed by the pressuring plate 50; and a cover plate 70 mounted on the first and second half bodies assembled with each other for allowing a clip to be loaded thereunder and providing a resilience to the pressurizing spring 60.
In this case, the clip shooting device comprises a double-stage guide rail 12 integrally formed on the first half body 10 in such a manner that one of a pair of guide protrusions 41 formed on the clip pushing member 40 is fit between the double-stage guide rail 12, so that a front end portion 43 of the clip pushing member 40 is moved downwardly upon the rearward-movement of the clip pushing member 40 and is moved upwardly upon the forward-movement of the clip pushing member, whereby the clip pushing member 40 forwardly pushes a clip one by one during the forward and rearward-movement thereof.
The body composed of first half body 10, and the second half body 10a is provided at the rear portion thereof with a grip 13 for facilitating the pulling of the trigger 20, the grip having an interior space 14 defined between the first and second half bodies, and a lid 15 detachably mounted on the second half body 10a, so that the body can be used as a case for accommodating clips therein.
Also, a longitudinal guideway is integrally formed on the double-stage guide rail 12, and has an extended portion 19 formed at the rear portion thereof, so that the front end portion of the clip pushing member 40 descends accurately while the guide protrusions 41 are slidably moved onto the double-stage guide rail 12 during the forward and rearward-movement of the clip pushing member, whereby the clip pushing member 40 is positioned under the extended portion 19 with the front end portion 43 descending when moving rearwardly.
Furthermore, the clip shooting device further comprises a clip widening member 80 for inducing the opening of two abutting front end portions of the clip loaded so as to allow the clip to bind sheets of paper, and has an engagement hole 81 drilled at the rear end portion of a V- shape to be fit onto a corresponding standing protrusion 16 integrally formed at the front end portion of the clip guideway, so that the clip widening member 80 is securely fixed at the bodies to prevent its separation from the standing protrusion after the assembling of the bodies.
At this time, the assembling of the bodies is performed by screwing. In addition, the clip shooting device further comprises a separate lid 90 disposed on the body so that the clip widening member is securely mounted in the body to facilitate assembling thereof.
Furthermore, the bodies have a loading cassette 18 defined inside the upper portion thereof and a clip insertion opening 17 formed on the outer peripheral surface of the rear portion thereof, so that clips are loaded into the loading cassette 18 through the clip insertion opening 17. And the pressuring plate 50 elastically supported by the pressurizing spring is connected to a cover plate 70, so that the loaded • clip is pushed forward by the spring pressurized when the cover plate is closed.
Furthermore, the pressurized plate 50 has a latching protrusion 51 formed at the top portion thereof to be caught by the rear end of the lid 90 so as to prevent the pressurized plate 50 from being moved further forwardly under the lid 90, thereby preventing the pressurizing spring 60 from being loose.
Accordingly, when the trigger 20 is pulled, the retaining tongue 22 is driven forwardly to cooperate with the retaining groove 42 and pushes the clip pushing member 40, so that the guide protrusions 41 slide onto the double- stage guide rail 12, thereby forwardly pushing a clip one by one.
The advanced clip is widened by means of the clip widening member 80 so as to allow the clip bind sheets of paper.
Accordingly, in the present invention, sheets of paper are bound by shooting clips in response to actuation of a trigger, thereby arising the interest of a user. This actuation of the trigger allows a clip pushing member to ascend and descend by means of the cooperative operation of the guide protrusions and the double-stage guide rail, thereby performing an accurate operation. In addition, the grip has an interior space defined in the body for accommodating clips therein, so that the dual function of a case and a clip driver can be implemented.
While the present invention has been described with reference to the particular illustrative embodiments, it is not to be restricted by the embodiments but only by the appended claims. It is to be appreciated that those skilled in the art can change or modify the embodiments without departing from the scope and spirit of the present invention.

Claims

Claims
1. A device for shooting a clip comprising: a body divided into a first half body 10 and a second half body 10a; a trigger 20 having a rotating means 21 which is fit into a hole defined in a engagement member 11 protrudinly formed integrally with the first half body, so that the first half body 10 and the second half body 10a are engageably assembled with each other to prevent separation therebetween; a clip pushing member 40 having a retaining groove 42 formed therein for cooperating with a retaining tongue 22 which is protruded outwardly from the upper end of the trigger 20 by a predetermined length, and elastically supported by means of a spring 30 fixed at one end to the first half body 10 so as to enable an automatic rearward- movement after a forward-movement thereof by means of a toggling operation of the trigger 20; a pressurizing plate 50 for forwardly pushing a clip loaded one by one, while the clip pushing member 40 is forwardly and rearwardly driven; a pressurizing spring 60 connected at one end to the pressuring plate 50 for continuously maintaining a state where the loaded clip is forwardly pushed by the pressuring plate 50; and a cover plate 70 mounted on the first and second half bodies assembled with each other for allowing a clip to be loaded thereunder and providing a resilience to the pressurizing spring 60.

The device for shooting a clip according to claim 1, wherein the clip shooting device comprises a double-stage guide rail 12 integrally formed on the first half body 10 in such a manner that one of a pair of guide protrusions 41 formed on the clip pushing member 40 is fit between the double-stage guide rail 12, so that a front end portion 43 of the clip pushing member 40 is moved downwardly upon the rearward-movement of the clip pushing member 40 and is moved upwardly upon the forward-movement of the clip pushing member, whereby the clip pushing member 40 forwardly pushes a clip one by one during the forward and rearward-movement thereof.

The device for shooting a clip according to claim 1, wherein the body composed of first half body 10, and the second half body 10a is provided at the rear portion thereof with a grip 13 for facilitating the pulling of the trigger 20, the grip having an interior space 14 defined between the first and second half bodies, and a lid 15 detachably mounted on the second half body 10a, so that the body can be used as a case for accommodating clips therein.

The device for shooting a clip according to claim 1, wherein a longitudinal guideway is integrally formed on the double-stage guide rail 12, the longitudinal guideway having an extended portion 19 formed at the rear portion thereof, so that the front end portion of the clip pushing member 40 descends accurately while the guide protrusions 41 are slidably moved onto the double-stage guide rail 12 during the forward and rearward-movement of the clip pushing member, whereby the clip pushing member 40 is positioned under the extended portion 19 with the front end portion 43 descending when moving rearward.

The device for a shooting a clip according to claim 1, further comprising a clip widening member 80 for inducing the opening of two abutting front end portions of the clip loaded so as to allow the clip to bind sheets of paper, and has an engagement hole 81 drilled at the rear end portion of a V-shape to be fit onto a corresponding standing protrusion 16 integrally formed at the front end portion of the clip guideway, so that the clip widening member 80 is securely fixed at the bodies to prevent its separation from the standing protrusion after the assembling of the bodies.
6. The device for shooting a clip according to claim 1, wherein the assembling of the first half body and the second half body is performed by screwing.
7. The device for shooting a clip according to claim 1, further comprising a separate lid 90 disposed on the body so that the clip widening member is securely mounted m the body.

The device for shooting a clip according to claim 1, wherein the bodies have a loading cassette 18 defined inside the upper portion thereof and a clip insertion opening 17 formed on the outer peripheral surface of the rear portion thereof, so that clips are loaded into the loading cassette 18 through the clip insertion opening 17. And the pressuring plate 50 elastically supported by the pressurizing spring is connected to a cover plate 70, so that the loaded clip is pushed forward by the spring pressurized when the cover plate is closed.
9. The device for shooting a clip according to claim 1, wherein the pressurized plate has a latching protrusion formed at the top portion thereof to be caught by the rear end of the lid.
