Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates to a keyboard pad; and, more particularly, to a keyboard pad capable of making a play sense felt by hands of a player during a playing similar to a sense of pushing a practical piano keyboard and keeping a bonding capability between a top pad and a bottom pad stable, in a roll type keyboard pad manufactured in a form of a sheet.
[2]
Background Art
[3] Generally, a roll type keyboard pad is formed thin and light to realize a light weight and a miniaturization. So called that such a conventional keyboard pad is mainly manufactured with a silicon material, after a top pad and a bottom bad are respectively formed with dividing into each other, a flexible film is received between the top pad and the bottom pad and it is manufactured by inter-connecting each other. A prior art related to the roll type keyboard pad is as follows.
[4] At first, Fig. 1 to Fig. 4 show a keyboard pad that can be seen in a patent application filed in the Korean Industrial Property Office and assigned 10-2003-0008281 and a divisional application thereof which is assigned 10-2004-0047468 filed by the present applicant.
[5] Fig. 1 is an example of a roll type piano mounting a keyboard pad. As shown in Fig.
1, a keyboard 1000 is mounted on a controller 2000. The keyboard pad 1000 includes a top pad 100 provided with a first keyboard 110 playing a role of a whole tone keyboard and a second key board 120 playing a role of a semitone keyboard, escape prevention jaws 210 to prevent the top pad 100 from deviating by being formed on the bottom pad, a first engaging jaw 130 to make the connection between the top pad 100 and the bottom pad stable and bonding tips 400 and the like. The controller 2000 includes a liquid crystal display (LCD) panel 2100a, an operational key unit 2100, a speaker 2200 and the like.
[6] As Fig. 2 represents the keyboard pad 1000 more detail, a first fitting portion 140 to make the connection with the controller 2000 stable, a pair of ground portions 330 to connect the flexible film received between the top pad 100 and the bottom pad to the controller 2000 and the like can be seen.
[7] As Fig. 3 is a exploded perspective view showing a keyboard pad 100 according to a prior art, the flexible film received between the top pad 100 and the bottom pad can be seen, and a first contact portion to transmit an electrical signal to the controller 2000 by forming the contact points according to the playing of the first keyboard and a second contact portion to transmit the electric signal to the controller 2000 by forming the contact points according to the playing of the second keyboard can be seen. And al so, a bonding capability of the keyboard pad 1000 can be reinforced by forming the second engaging jaw 220 to engage with the first engaging jaw 130 of the top pad 100 by being formed on the bottom pad.
[8] Fig. 4 represents a reverse side of the top pad 100 among things exploded and shown in Fig. 3 to show an inside surface of the top pad 100. A first recess 110a formed with facing the first keyboard of the top pad 100 and a second recess 120a formed with facing the second keyboard can be seen. Such recesses 110a and 120a are formed together with the contact portions 310 and 320 of the flexible film. By contacting a region protruded between each of the recesses 110a and 120a to a non- contact region between each contact portions 310 and 320 of the flexible film, the contact formations of the adjacent other keyboards due to one keyboard pushed during the playing can be prevented.
[9] However, there can be generated several problems for the technical features of the previously filed application by the present applicant described in above. That is, each of the recesses 110a and 120a formed on the top pad 100 and an empty space formed by a protruded region formed by the recesses 110a and 120a cause a problem that the play sense felt by hands during the playing does not realize the feeling of pushing the practical piano keyboard. And also, as the escape prevention jaws 210 and the second engaging jaw 220 formed on the bottom pad and the first engaging jaw 130 formed on the top pad can be seen as a means to prevent the top and the bottom pads from deviating, it is a structure that can generate a critical damage if the bonding capability of the silicon adhesive becomes weak due to the operations of rolling and unrolling for a long time.
[10] And, as another prior art, a keyboard pad related to a roll type piano can be also seen in Korean Utility application No. 20-2001-0011711, Korean Utility application No. 20-2002-0023572, Korean Utility application No. 20-2004-0017138, Korean Patent application No. 10-2003-0054770 and United State patent 6,259,006, however, they do not suggest a detailed means related to a realization of the feeling of pushing the practical piano keyboard for the playing sense felt by hands during the playing; and do not suggest a detailed means to overcome a problem that the bonding capability of the silicon rubber becomes weak due to the operations of rolling and unrolling for a long time.

The keyboard contact protrusion 4 can be more clearly identified in Fig. 6 and Fig. 7, and it is obvious that the keyboard contact protrusion 4 can be formed on the whole tone keyboard 2 as well as on the semitone keyboard 3.
[43] Fig. 8 is another embodiment that the keyboard contact protrusion 4 is set as another form. The keyboard contact protrusion 4 of Fig. 8 can be identified that it is set as a tooth type. As can be seen from Fig. 5 and Fig. 8, the play sense felt by the hands during the playing of the keyboard pad 10 can be made similar to the sense of pushing the practical piano keyboard through the various modifications of the keyboard contact protrusion 4. The Fig. 9 is a cross-sectional diagram taken along a line C-C of Fig. 8, and Fig. 10 is a cross-sectional diagram taken along a line D-D' of Fig. 8.
[44] The keyboard pad 10 in accordance with the present invention makes the sense further similar to the sense of pushing the practical piano keyboard by forming a sloped portion 5 on the keyboards 2 and 3. As can be seen from Fig. 5 to Fig. 10, it takes a shape similar to the practical piano keyboard by forming the sloped portion 5 on the edge portion of each of the keyboards 2 and 3. A round angle of the sloped portion 5 is formed in such a way that it matches to a round angle of the practical piano keyboard as possible.
[45] By receiving the keyboard pad 10 in accordance with the present invention at a top pad 11 and a bottom pad 12, a film supporting protrusion 6 is formed to support the flexible film. As can be seen from Fig. 5 to Fig. 10, the film supporting protrusion 6 can be formed on a predetermined portion of the protrusion portion between the keyboards as many as a predetermined number. The detailed structures of the flexible film, the protrusion portion or the like can be identified in detail through Fig. 1 to Fig. 4 of a prior patent application filed by a commonly owned assignor.
