Abstract

A fluid mixer includes a housing defining a mixing chamber, hot and cold water inlets, and a mixed water outlet. The housing includes a mixing element, and a directing member operably coupled to the mixing element and defines hot and cold water pathways in a spaced relationship. The hot and cold water pathways direct streams the respective inlets to the mixing element. The mixing element is configured to separate the hot and cold water streams into spaced apart hot and cold water streams, respectively; and to mix the cold water streams and the hot water streams into spaced apart mixed water streams. The mixing element is configured to combine the mixed water streams to the mixed water outlet.
