Abstract

A device for the generation of heat by conversion of electrical energy into heat energy is disclosed, whereby the logical nodes for energy conversion, in particular microcomputers/microprocessors or programmable logic devices, RISC processors or semiconductor components which release heat energy due to ohmic resistance are used coupled to each other and/or at least one network or at least one external system by means of electrode coupling and a method for commercial application of said device in heterogeneous or homogeneous data processing systems. The electrical energy for conversion into heat energy can have multiple and effective uses and waste heat problems for computer stations resolved, using said device and method, whereupon economical computers with considerable computing and memory capacities can be achieved for a fraction of the cost of large servers or mainframes which are available for a worldwide capacity-related application.
