Abstract

The invention relates to a method for gelling saturated high-acid liquids into salt (sodium chloride) by a method improving superabsorbent powder (SAP) polymers. The inventive method consists of a low percentage, 0.025 % to 15 %, of sodium carbonate Na 2CO3 (1) for buffering a low pH; quantitatively depending on the acidity of the liquid to be gelled; of a sodium or potassium polyacrylate SAP polymer (2), or the like; of a powder of finely granulated pumice stone (3) containing 75 % of silica (Si02) in the form of a natural ionizer exchanging ions with the SAP powder and substantially improving the gelling rate.
