Abstract

The invention relates to a device for the ion implantation in roller surfaces for the production of paper, comprising at least one ion source, an accelerator, a vacuum chamber and a deviation device, at least a part of the roller surface to be treated being received in the vacuum chamber. The invention is characterized in that foreign ions are inserted into the roller surface in such a manner that a strong adherence of materials, which are treated with the roller, is largely prevented.
