Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing hair treatment soap, in which plants or parts thereof are selected and said plants or plant parts are dried and washed with 1% sodium hypochlorite. The plants or plant parts are subsequently mixed with a solution of alcohol and water in a ratio of 0.07:1 in order to optimise the extraction of active ingredients. The plant parts can comprise stems, leaves, flowers, stones, etc. The selected plants are: beggarticks, mammee apple, avocado, arnica, prickly poppy, horsetail, green shrimp plant, spurred anoda, spurge, croton, mallow, walnut, rosemary, aloe vera, chamomile, guava, prickly pear, romerillo, elder and mugwort. The soap thus obtained is used as is or as an active ingredient for shampoos, lotions, gels and creams.

The drying step is natural, covering the plants with newspaper or using a dark room.

As stage five and to achieve optimal extraction of active ingredients, the plants are mixed with a solution of alcohol and water, in proportion to 1 part of the plant, 1 part of water and 0.07 parts of alcohol, so that the plants are soaked or parts of the plants in that solution in order to optimize the extraction of active ingredients.

As stage six the mixture of plants and solution is kept at rest for 3 days at room temperature.

As stage seven, the excess obtained, with everything and the particles in suspension, which is left in stage five, that is, water, plant and alcohol, which represents an extraction, is emptied or decanted into a plastic container, perfectly clean and dark. And the rest of the plant is squeezed through a cloth canvas to obtain the rest of the liquid solution.

As stage eight, the extract obtained together with the leftover, previously measured in volume, is emptied into a plastic container to add sodium benzoate in a proportion of 10 parts of extract per 0.02 parts of sodium benzoate, in order to avoid contamination and achieve better conservation.

This extract, properly refrigerated, will be the basis for shampoo, lotion, gel and hair cream.

Already with the appropriate proportions, stage nine is carried out, which consists of grinding in a manual nixtamal mill all the parts of the plants and the liquids that have already been added to them. Subsequently, stage ten is passed, which is a second ground of the mixture obtained and ground in another electric, helical mill. Stage eleven consists of making a third ground that is made in another electric mill. The purpose of this ground is to obtain a particle size that offers adequate consistency to the soap that will be obtained from this ground. With the addition of ingredients in stage twelve, step thirteen is passed, which consists in mixing and homogenizing the obtained mass.

As stage 20, the molded soap is placed on a wooden shelf so that the piece dries naturally, the same drying process that lasts 6 to 8 days, depending on the degree of moisture of the plant.

As a step 21, the soap is dry, to enhance and increase its hair revitalization effects, they are emptied in a tub containing the active ingredients obtained from the extraction of the plants, and which will serve as the basis for shampoo, lotion, gel and cream, letting them soak and moisten for 5 minutes.

Again, the moistened tablet is allowed to dry on a shelf for 2-4 days. In step 22, the soap with the desired humidity is already wrapped in a plastic layer so that the drying is not excessive and the required humidity level is maintained The step or stage 23 consists of packing the soap to be able to go to its distribution and commercialization.
