Abstract

A method and device are for dynamically stabilizing a spine using a dynamic spine stabilizer. The dynamic spine stabilizer includes a plurality of rods arranged in series and a flexible member arranged between adjacent rods. The flexible member includes a sheath, e.g., a woven sheath. Each end of the sheath is connected to a respective end of the adjacent rods. An elastomeric plug is arranged in a lumen of the sheath and disposed between ends of adjacent rods.
