Abstract

Service-oriented computer architecture (SOA) supports deploying, sharing, and using statistical based analysis tasks An analytic server computer system (ASCS) provides a SOA frame work, enabling users to develop and deploy statistical based analysis tasks (analytics) to clients by means of a web service/ web server Once published, such analytics can be consumed by a reporting interface for running analytics without having to understand the workings of the analytics The ASCS can include an analytic web service, which is used by consumers, typically through ASCS client code, to specify or discover analytics and to run them on consumer designated data and with designated parameter values.
