Abstract

The invention is a stable nano-particle, for use as contrast media in radiography. The nano-particle of the invention is comprised of at least one contrast agent, phospholipids, and surfactants and is characterized in that it consists of at least about 20% (wt/wt) of the contrast agent. Also described are processes for the preparation of the nano-particles of the invention.
