Abstract
The design is related with a cap (1) for a cylindrical gaseous beverage can. The purpose of the design is to prevent the contact of the beverage remnant in the can with the air and to conserve the beverage remnant in the can with its gas. Another purpose is to prevent the entrance of a harmful substance into the can.
Description
A CAP
This invention is related with a cap which can be used to prevent the leakage in the cylindrical gaseous beverage cans.
There is no any leakage in a cylindrical gaseous beverage can, which is made of any kind of metal material, provided that the can is fully closed. There is a small, with respect to the total area, amount of area which is already prepared to be torn. To tear this surface, a latch is punched at the top surface of the cylindrical can. When the consumer pulled the latch from its wide part at the outer, the narrow part of the latch at the inner applies a force to the top surface of the can. By this force, the small area is torn. When the small area is torn, a small gap is opened. The beverage in the cylindrical can is ready to go out from this gap. But, the gas of the beverage continously goes to the ambient through this gap. As a result, the gas of the beverage remnant in the can decreases when all of the beverage is not consumed once in a time. On the other hand, through this gap, a harmful substance may enter into the can. In this invention, a cap is designed both to keep the beverage remnant within the can with its gas by preventing the beverage to contact with the air and to prevent the entrance of a harmful substance.
The cap for the purpose of the invention is depicted in the following figures ,
Figure 1 -Vertical sectional view of the invention
Figure 2-Vertical sectional view of another application of the invention- in which inner and outer parts are there, while inner and outer parts are conjucted
Figure 3- Vertical sectional view of another application of the invention- in which inner and outer parts are there, while inner and outer parts are separated
Figure 4- Vertical sectional view of another application of the invention- in which inner and outer parts are there, while inner and outer parts are separated and the cap is turned to be used as a coaster
Figure 5 -Vertical sectional view of another application of the invention- while a mountable/demountable part, which is for a pipette, is mounted on the cap
The list of the parts used in the figures are as follows :
1) Cap / Coaster
2) First outer tongue
3) Cavity between first and second outer tongue
4) Second outer tongue
5) Cavity between the outer tongues and inner tongue 6) Inner tongue
7) Bump
8) Handle
9) Separation/conjuction surface
10) Inner part 11) Outer part
20) Part for pipette 30) Seal element
The cap (1) in this invention has a first outer tongue (2) and a second outer tongue (4) which are separated from each other by a cavity (3). Both first (2) and second (4) outer tongues hold the cylindrical gaseous beverage can on which the cap (1) in this invention will be placed. The cap (1) in this invention is mounted and demounted to the cylindrical gaseous beverage can with a handle (8). A cavity (5) which is located between the outer tongues and inner tongue is formed on the inner surface of the cap (1) to hold the edges on the top surface of the can when the cap (1) is putted on it. To enable the sealing between the cap and the can, a
seal element (30) is affixed to the cavity between the outer tongues and inner tongue (5) and a bump (J) which is protruded into the inside is formed on the cap. The cap (1) in this invention presses on the top surface of the cylindrical gaseous beverage can via its inner toungue (6).
In another application of the invention, the cap (1) is formed with an inner (10) and an outer (11) parts which are able to both separate and conjuct from each other along a separation/conjuction surface (9). Fixing on the separation/conjuction surface (9) can be either by a snap or any other method. When the inner part (10) is separated from the cap (1) and then the cap is turned, the cap is transformed to a coaster (1) which allows the cylindrical gaseous beverage can to put on the separation/conjuction surface (9).
In another application of the invention, there is a part for pipette (20) which is able to both mount and demount in a vertical direction inside of the cap (1). When the cap (1) is putted on the can, if the part for pipette (20) is taken out from the cap (1), a gap will be formed in the cap (I)- By means of this gap, the beverage in the can becomes ready to drink with a pipette.
Claims
1. A cap (1) for cylindrical gaseous beverage can is characterised that, it has a handle (8) which allows it to be mounted and demounted to the cylindrical gaseous beverage can ; it has a first outer tongue (2) and a second outer tongue (4) which are separated from each other by a cavity (3) and which hold the cylindrical gaseous beverage can from its outside; it has a inner tongue (6) which presses on the top surface of the cylindrical gaseous beverage can; it has a cavity (5) which is located between the outer tongues (2,4) and inner tongue (6) to hold the edges on the top surface of the can when the cap (1) is putted on it; it has a seal element (30) which is affixed to the cavity (5) to enable the sealing between the cap (1) and the can; it has a bump (7) which is positioned on the inside of the second outer tongue (4) and protruded into the inside and which enables to hold the can from its outer side walls when the cap (1) is putted on the can.
2. With related to the Claim 1, a cap (1) for cylindrical gaseous beverage can is characterised that, it has an inner part (10) and an outer part (11) which are able to both separate and conjuct from each other along a separation/conjuction surface (9) by a snap or any other method; it has such an inner part (10) that, when the inner part (10) is separated from the cap (1) and then the cap is turned, the cap is transformed to a coaster (1) which allows the cylindrical gaseous beverage can to put on the separation/conjuction surface (9).
3. With related to the Claim 1, a cap (1) for cylindrical gaseous beverage can is characterised that, it has such a part for pipette (20) that when it is taken out from the cap (1), the beverage in the can becomes ready to drink with a pipette by means of the gap in the cap (l)which is formed by the extraction of the part for pipette (20).
