Abstract
This invention relates to multispectral camouflage net formed by metal and special chemical finished rashel fabric made of woven polyester for providing radar infrared and thermal camera protection.
Description
SPECIFICATION
MULTISPECTRAL CAMOUFLAGE
FIELD OF INVENTION
This invention relates to multispectral camouflage net formed by metal and special chemical finished rashel fabric made of woven polyester for providing radar infrared and thermal camera protection.
DESCRIPTION
Every substance has its own particular signature. All detectors work based on these signatures. These signatures may be visual, acoustic, motional or any form of reflected or scattered energy. Thanks to progressive technologies, targets are captured and hit readily.
Owing to this invention, protection against the attacks may be realized by changing the signature and enemies can be astonished. Moreover, vehicles can be protected against exploration.
Invention is capable of protecting against visual threats, near infrared threats and far infrared-thermal and radar threats. Visual threats: sensing range of the human eye is between 380-780 nm wavelengths. Multispectral camouflage net can be totally adapted to the environment and remarkable operational and logistic camouflage is achieved. Near infrared threats: working range of the near infrared devices is between 780-1400 nm. Near infrared systems performs detections by using the difference in the color reflection values of the objects. In multispectral net, different reflection values are obtained for each color and total adaptation with the environment is achieved. Far infrared-thermal threats are between
3000-12000 nm wavelengths. Thermal detection devices detect thermal energies emitted by objects. Especially the military vehicles emit large amounts of thermal energy. Multispectral net emits virtual heat near environment temperature and adapts to environment. Because they only sense the environmental heat, the thermal detection devices can not detect the vehicle. Radar threats are between 2-100 GHz radar wavelengths. Radar systems send radar waves and detect objects by reflected waves. Multispectral net absorbs radar waves as well reflects some of these waves. Thus, it prevents objects being caught by radar.
Invention is capable of multiple functions which are performed by several parts. Its pores are formed in such a way to avoid the fabric getting stuck into the sharp parts of the vehicle. It can be installed rapidly and easily. It is fairly light. It has very high strength and resistance. It can be applied onto all vehicles and systems. It can be manufactured in different colors and figures according to customer demand and can vary in size.
Product does not contain any harmful substance for human and environmental health. Camouflaging of tanks, planes and vehicles can be achieved in short time.
EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION
Protection against radar infrared and thermal camera is achieved by forming rashel fabric by knitting the polyester and applying metal and special chemical finishing thereunto. Fabric is configured in different colors and shapes in case of visual camouflage.
Fibers are prepared by adding conductive metal fibers into polyester fibers in the amount of 1-15 %. Then rashel fabric is manufactured by knitting the fibers. Subsequently, protection against the radar infrared and thermal
camera is achieved by applying the metal and special finishing onto the fabric with amounts lower than that is in the first method. It is much lighter. Fabric is configured in different colors and shapes in case of visual camouflage. Rashel fabric is made by knitting of the fibers made of 100 % polyester conductive metal fibers which is curled 50 to 850 times. Subsequently, protection against the radar infrared and thermal camera is achieved by applying the metal and special finishing onto the fabric with amounts lower than that is in the first method. It is much lighter. Fabric is configured in different colors and shapes in case of visual camouflage.
Claims
