Abstract
This invention provides a biosensor cartridge which can minimize the collection amount of a sample necessary for the measurement to reduce a burden on a user and, at the same time, can easily collect a sample, for the measurement, in a puncture port without any operation for moving a sample collection port close to the puncture port. A puncture tool (16) for puncture is covered with and fixed to a substrate (12) on its outer surface (12a) with a resin (18). Accordingly, in a later stage, the puncture tool (16) can easily be mounted on a chip body. Further, since the front end (16a) of the puncture tool (16) is protruded from near the sample collection port (17) in the substrate (12), the sample can be collected form the sample collection port (17) immediately after puncture with a biosensor cartridge (10). The above constitution can minimize the collection amount of the sample necessary for the measurement to reduce a burden on the user and, at the same time, can easily collect the sample, for the measurement, in the puncture port without any operation for moving the sample collection port (17) close to the puncture port.
