Abstract

A cleaning device (10) is provided that includes an integral fluid dispenser therein that serves to dispense a fluid (24) into the scrubbing pad (18) of the device to improve the cleaning effectiveness of the device (10). The device (10) includes a main body 12 with a cleaning pad (18) attached to one side thereof, an internal motorized assembly (23) for rotating the cleaning pad (18) upon depressing a button (25) provided on a side of the main body (12) and a fluid storage region (22) that contains a cleaning fluid (24.) A metered dosing pump (26) is used to dispense a measured amount of fluid (24) from the fluid storage region (22) to cleaning pad (18) upon actuation by the user. Further, the dispensing action and the rotation of the pad (18) may be controlled by the same button or by separate buttons.
