Abstract

A container for a stack of circular disks includes a base having a disk carrier portion for supporting a stack of disks on their edges in a side by side arrangement and defining a support axis, and a pair of mutually opposing, not mutually parallel end supports transverse to the support axis, the end supports being adapted to support respective ends of the disk stack, when in a non-compact formation, so as to permit riffling therethrough by a user when the disks are seated on the base, thereby to permit visual inspection of a selected side of a selected disk; a cover for fastening over the base and enclosing the disks; and a holding apparatus for selectably maintaining the stack of disks in a compacted formation, wherein all of the disks are in a mutually parallel, touching association with at least one other disk.
