Abstract

A fluid heating apparatus for heating up fluid by electric power comprises: a plurality of heat generating tubes (10) closely arranged each other in rows and lines, and having an internal passageway (12) for allowing the fluid to flow therethrough; a planar heater (20) provided on an outer surface of the each heat generating tube (10) so as to heat up the fluid passing through the internal passageway (12) using thermal energy generated by electric power; an electrode (30) arranged on the outer surface of the planar heater (20) at both sides for supplying electric power; and a plurality of U-shaped connection tubes (40) provided to connect adjacent heat generating tube (10) at both ends thereof so that the fluid can be heated when the fluid passes through the internal passageway (12) of the heat generating tube (10).
