Abstract

Provided is a computerized system and method of facilitating a transaction between a buyer and a vehicle dealership. The method includes creating a virtual record for the buyer that is accessible over a network by at least a sales terminal and a financing terminal, entering into the virtual record information about the buyer that will allow a determination of a creditworthiness of the buyer to be performed, and transmitting to a salesperson affiliated with the vehicle dealership one or more required tasks that the salesperson is to perform to further the transaction. The method further includes associating in the virtual record a vehicle that the buyer is interested in acquiring, and responsive to the entering of the information into the virtual record, determining the creditworthiness of the buyer. An alert can be automatically communicated to a financing representative affiliated with a lender if the creditworthiness of the buyer determined during said determining is less than a low-credit threshold establishing a minimum creditworthiness required for the lender to propose a financing arrangement without personal approval of the financing provision by the financing representative. A transaction scenario is assembled and includes one or more terms agreeable to the vehicle dealership, and the transaction scenario is visibly presented to the salesperson, the buyer, or both the salesperson and the buyer.
