Abstract

A ground-mounted device (100) for presenting a message can comprise a ground- mounted base (102), a cover (104), and one or more panels (106). The ground-mounted base (102) can have a support surface (116), a first retainer (124) extending around at least a portion of a periphery of the base (102), and opposing ends (114) that are substantially rounded. The cover (104) can be configured to be removably attached to the base (102). The cover (104) can substantially span the support surface (1 16). The cover (104) can extend beneath the first retainer (124) when the cover (104) is attached to the base (102). The one or more panels (106) can be securable to the base ( 102) with at least a portion of the panel (106) extending over the cover (104) to inhibit movement of the cover (104) away from the base (102).
