Abstract

An adjustable device for positioning a portable car seat over the passenger seat of a vehicle, including, a base for positioning the device on the passenger seat of the vehicle, a platform for placing a portable car seat onto it, a mechanism that couples the platform to the base and allows the control of the position of the platform relative to the base, wherein the position of the platform is adjustable over a continuous range over its direction of motion.
