Abstract

The invention relates to an apparatus (1) for generating at least one secure entitlement on the basis of at least one official entitlement, comprising: - at least one reader of official entitlements (10, 11, 12), - a device for recognizing information contained in the official entitlement, - a device for verifying the authenticity of the official entitlement on the basis of the information contained in the official entitlement, - a device (14) for generating a personalized secure entitlement on the basis of the information contained in the official entitlement, - data representative of authorization parameters defining the types of entitlements that the apparatus is authorized to issue and the information required for issuing these entitlements. The invention allows fast issuing of the secure entitlement and ensures security against theft and fraud.
