Abstract

The invention relates to a device and to a method for transferring a substance from a closed source system (G) into a target system (Z) having a casing body (1), inside of which the substance is present, wherein the casing body (1) comprises at least one connection (2, 3) to at least one target system (Z). For this purpose, it should be possible to select the target system and achieve a substance transfer to reduce the risk of contamination. According to two embodiments, the method is to reduce the risk of contamination during the transfer of the substance to a living organism. With respect to the device, the object is achieved in that the connection (2, 3) protrudes freely from the casing body (1) and is connected thereto in a sterile manner. With respect to the method, the object is achieved for one in that the free end of the connection is perforated directly before injection into the target system, and secondly in that the substance reaches an infusion set connected in a sterile manner via the connection of the source system, said infusion set being a closed target and source system, and that from there the substance reaches the target system.
