Abstract
The invention relates to a motive guide wire comprising (figure 1) a guide wire (made of nitinol, polymers, stainless steel, platinum or cobalt-chrome) with an atraumatic tip (1) at the proximal end and a body (2) that can be of various sizes, and with branches or legs (3 and 4) that can be manipulated from the outside by means of a connection for moving the tip and body through 180° or more, and which branches can be optionally joined so as to take the same shape as the body of the guide wire.
Description
"FIO GUIA MOTOR" "MOTOR GUIDE WIRE"
The present invention patent is a motor guide wire model for endovascular surgery to improve efficiency and minimize deficiencies in other systems.
Other catheter-type motor systems with active endovascular lumen movement over a previously placed guide are already known.
Although still used on a small scale, catheters of this quality tend to be increasingly used in complex or difficult endovascular anatomies and surgeries. However, due to the wide variety of catheters, they become luxury accessories in the endovascular market. Its handling also makes the procedure more time consuming and costly. Because they are catheters, they have difficulty with thinner arteries such as the cerebral and distal arteries. An example would be the 90 degree angled Venture catheter and full movement and inclination Morph.
In view of all of the above drawbacks and in order to enable endovascular procedures to be performed with due and necessary safety, a new motor guide wire model was developed to guide the guide and thus the entire system to the desired location.
This type of device consists of a type of guidewire of various sizes and material types compatible with the degree of technology currently available. Depending on the type of endovascular surgery may be used separately or in conjunction with existing guides and catheters.
A guide wire (nitinol, polymers, stainless steel, platinum or cobalt chrome) with an atraumatic tip 1 and body 2 of varying lengths cut
longitudinalmente até a distância desejada para a ponta atraumática semelhante ao Y invertido. longitudinally to the desired distance to the inverse Y-like atraumatic tip.
The branches or legs 3 and 4 of the guidewire may have different types of termination and cutting may be performed on different types and sizes of guidewire and materials. These joined legs may or may not meet the guidewire body settings. This enables movement of the catheter and or system by directing the tip of the guidewire externally through each leg or branch of the guidewire. This movement is done through a special torque of different configurations for coupling of the manipulator's leg and finger or hand up to 180 degrees or more.
O desenho em anexo mostra o fio guia motor endovascular, objeto da presente patente no qual: The attached drawing shows the endovascular motor guidewire, object of the present patent in which:
A figura 1 mostra o fio guia motor em corte longitudinal e transversal. Figure 1 shows the motor guide wire in longitudinal and cross section.
As illustrated by the related figures, the present invention privilege model consists of a (01) motor guidewire shown in Figure 1.
