Abstract

The present invention relates to a sliding apparatus for a portable device, which is installed between a first body and a second body of the portable device and supports the first body in such a manner that the first body slides in relation to the second body into an opened or closed state. The sliding apparatus comprises: an intermediate member which is installed between the first and second bodies and has a opened link hole in the central portion thereof; a front member which is installed to slide in the first direction in relation to the intermediate member and is coupled with the first body; a rear member which is installed on the rear surface of the intermediate member to slide in relation to the intermediate member in a second direction vertical to the first direction and is coupled with the second body; and a link member which is arranged in the link hole of the intermediate member in such a manner that one end and the other end of the link member are respectively connected to the front end and the rear members and allow rotation thereof. The sliding apparatus is able to perform an opening and closing operation while pushing the first body of the portable device in relation to the second body in a diagonal direction. Therefore, the user can use the sliding apparatus more conveniently.
