Contenant (20) apte à recevoir du café vert (10) destiné à être torréfié par un appareil de torréfaction (24), caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend des moyens (16) mémoire programmables adaptés pour enregistrer des paramètres de torréfaction du café vert (10) contenu dans ledit contenant (20) déterminés selon le procédé de torréfaction conforme à la revendication 1 et ces moyens mémoire programmables sont également adaptés pour que ces paramètres de torréfaction soient lus par un lecteur associé audit appareil de torréfaction (24), la torréfaction du café vert dudit contenant (20) par l'appareil de torréfaction (24) étant alors conduite selon les paramètres de torréfaction ainsi lus.
