Abstract

A labelling machine comprises: a silicone supporting roller (3), which is rotatable about a first axis of rotation (X) and having a cylindrical outside surface (3 a) for supporting a portion of an adhesive-coated web (2) and having annular peripheral grooves (4); and a plurality of diverting discs (5) which partly penetrate into the peripheral grooves (4) and which rotate in the same direction as the supporting roller (3) in order to intercept the adhesive-coated web (2) and drag it away from the supporting roller (3) as the latter rotates.
